Who are these mystical ed's, I also get that you're not going to say: ed 07 is lance key or anything.

But are you attached to clubs some admin sense, are you football journo's, do you just scour all media outlets and put most likely versions out?

Due to previous replies to my posts; purely asking out of interest - nothing argumental.

{Ed001's Note - depends on the Ed, most are volunteers with varying levels of info, depending on who they know. Ed002 has extensive contacts in European football and the Prem. Ed033 is not really football oriented at all, he builds the sites, does all the improvements etc and makes them what they are. Him and myself are the only ones that actually earn anything from doing this at the moment. Me, I do this full time now and started off with a few contacts in football and have spent the last 12 years increasing them. It is best to avoid becoming too attached to a club, it is already frustrating that so much of the info that gets passed on is requested to be kept to ourselves. If you become too close to a club they will ask more and more of that of you, I have found. So I try and avoid that now, especially having seen how clubs are now using their links to deliberately put out false stories in recent years.}

Maybe shed some light on takeover before the kids kill each other.

{Ed001's Note - as far as we are aware it is just the FL taking their time. This happens every time there is a takeover, the paperwork can take months to process. It only takes a signature to be missed or a misprint or typo to hold everything up for days as the documents have to be redone and passed back and forth for everyone to check. They never even started processing until they got confirmation that Lens had received the missing money, so don't expect anything for a while yet, judging by previous takeovers. Even a takeover as seamless as Man City's took months to be confirmed, they barely made it in time for the January transfer window. The only reason people think it went off so well is that Robinho was bought as a good faith payment and so people assumed it was all done in the summer. The truth is that it took another 4 or so months to go through after that.}

Just one more thing (said columbo) any reason you don't do a news section, you guys seem 'informed' but only respond to questions, I read another page a lot, premier league team and you get asked same questions about same players every day, if you gave updates it may remove this.

{Ed001's Note - because no one ever reads them when we do them and just starts asking us questions that are already covered in the news section. We tried it on the Liverpool site, as that is the busiest one, we just ended up giving up on it. Those that ask the repeat questions clearly only read their own posts and replies to them, as they take no notice of anything else on the sites. Unfortunately some people are just ignorant and can't be bothered to do anything that involves them making an effort.}

Thanks ed's. Great site and love the community or banter. Just wish it was a bit more lively on this one. Only reactions seem to be 'in fighting'.
