On Stoke Rumour site ...... Pulis confirmed Marshall will sign new contract. But that he wants him to come back to Wednesday to be involved in a promotion season.

Can't see Marshall going to lcfc no guarantee of first team football plus owls will be in same league next season the green light is on for us to buy Marshall it's now or never

No longer a rumour , check all the press , Leicester believe they're close to a deal to get Marshall for around £500k.
Marshall not signing the Stoke contract & wants a move as he wants to play every week. We can guarantee him that & first name on team-sheet.
We know he wanted to come here by the way he kissed the badge when he scored his last two goals for us.
Doesn't sound a lot for a player who we know for fact can influence our season ? With £5m guaranteed if we get in Championship , £1/2m doesn't look like much of a punt to me ! Good odds when you're backing a favourite MM ?
If he goes for 1/2 a mil and we don't at least have a bid at it their will be no one more disappointed than megson as in football terms it ain't alot of money for a player than will be worth 10 times that in a year or two
MM's said a few times we will do our best to get Marshall so I hope we have bid at least that much ?

The only thing preventing Marshall joining us is MM. It's becoming blatantly obvious.

Totally agree! He totally saved us.
But don't tell the fans he's going to do something if hes no intention of doing it. Lots of posters on here have refused to be critical of him, but if it turns out we've done nothing to get Ben Marshall after what he's said I think a lot will turn.
I wouldn't turn on him regardless as I don't see how our club would benefit from that.
If he'd said last season "I will save this club but won't sign Ben Marshall", I'd have still took it...
It's not like anybody else with more money is queuing up to buy him out, and considering the last few muppets we have had we are in a better state than we have been for many years... UTO
