Heard we've put a bid in for matt lecointe and warren feeney off Plymouth, and Andre Gary from Luton, heard we also want tranmere's Martin devaney

Believable1 Unbelievable5

Are you a Wednesday fan or a blunts one? we are actually goin to sign decent players not like debt ridon blunts

Agree5 Disagree0

To add to my comment above warren feeney signed a new deal at Plymouth and devany.got realised from tranmere,
maybe the young lad maybe a possibility for the reserve team dj wants

Agree1 Disagree2

Can not believe this is serious, looks likely recruits for a league 2 team.

I smell an oinker! these will be the only players you get next season in league one! oh...and by the way....mind the gap!

Agree2 Disagree0

Mind the gap, the league does not lie... And so forth.

Not a rumour but what are peoples views on George Boyd! Good footballer and it seems he is available.... I personally wouldn't mind seeing him at Hillsborough. Ripped Wednesday apart along with McKail-Smith a couple of seasons ago. Good on the ball and manages a few goals with a decent amount of assists.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

He was xlnt in Lge1 , but he's not done it in Champs thats why he's available so why would we want him?

Agree2 Disagree0

He is available because of his refusal to sign a new contract. He did spend time at Nottingham Forest a couple of seasons ago when they lost in the play - offs. Personally think he would compliment the ball winning Semedo.....

United fail against udders they going to be in league 1 or even 2 crap loads in debt and mcpig lost more than half his money in property slump an bad investments in china. don't look good for them LMAO

Believable1 Unbelievable1

I could not care less what is happening at any other club than the Owls. Only hope is it may help us secure services of Maguire.

Emile Heskey or Michael Owen (watch this space) wages be mental but our chairman loves the free transfers. Six released by West Ham ,,,mmmmm raid then DJ.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

I've heard about heskey 2 i think we need an injury prone, high wage, slow, cant shoot, fat forward and would fit perfectly into wednesday (sarcasism btw for anyone who complains)

I'm liking the signing of Kirkland, if the rest of our transfers this summer are the same quality then it seems that the intention is to make a realistic push for promotion this year :)

I'm expecting more signings of a similar nature as the premiership clubs decide who they are releasing. I don't care if they are free transfers, i'd rather get a load of good free transfers than a couple of ok players on a big transfer fee (i.e. Becchio, Becford etc)

Believable6 Unbelievable0

Fully support the above. Kirkland hashad his fair share of knocks but he is top quality when fit and we have a good reputation for resurrecting careers of keepers, Carson, Grant, Bywater were all out of favour and received boost to careers.

Agree4 Disagree0

Well said that man !

Credit to Andy Rhodes due here I think ?
