I'd like to believe these two loan signings mark a turning point. That we'll start winning and come March from a position of mid table safety we'll look back and think why did we want DJ out. But somehow I doubt an injury hit striker who has never been prolific and a defender who is quite inexperienced will be the answer to our problems. We'll see but I think DJ out by the beginning of December.

Well the two loans certainly made a difference just like we knew they would !

The season is over!!
Going down is a certainty as is dj getting the sack!
We play Leeds in April and they will be laughing when they send weds down

Believable2 Unbelievable4

Why would any of this matter to a proper Leeds fan unless he knew deep down the truth .... that we are MASSIVE , something Leeds can only aspire to !
The records don't lie !
Our Manager went over there to win you the Prem title but just ask him who the biggest club is - no doubt in his mind !!

Anyone think MM is losing interest ? Why else would he sit silent while Jones' decisions go from bad to worse ? Is he noticing what is happening ? Perhaps his interest in saving his investment will stir him into action. Along with everyone else I am undyingly grateful for his saving us from extinction, but am beginning to wonder about his stewardship.

I share your concerns but I console myself with the hope that this is just the calm before the storm.
I believe there will be a big change before Xmas - - Most unlikely on the pitch, almost certainly off it !

How can you fail to wonder about MMs stewardship.
Grateful we all are that he saved the club, and we always will be , but we do have to strive to keep moving forward in football.
I think it was Shankly who said - - if you try to stand still in football you go backwards very, very quickly ! - - and that is the danger I think.
When you look at MMs investment in the club (on the pitch !) since he took over its minimal compared to most.
Irvine got about £1m (inc Reda and Madine) Megson got less than £1/2m to put promotion squad together, and estimates of Jones spending (figures not published yet ) range from £2m-£4m so not a lot of money in total ?
But what does stand out though is how important it is to have the right man in charge , and spending that money ?
More than ironic that the man who spent the least achieved the most, whilst the man who spent the most looks like reversing that trend , certainly on the season so far ?

Aldridge is in charge

Agree0 Disagree3

Aldridge ??? - I wish some fans would stop looking for excuses and open their eyes ??
Even if Aldridge had bought the players that somehow DJ doesn't want (crazy??) DJ picks the team and decides tactics doesn't he?
In most fans eyes Bothcrap not been worth a place so why build tactics round him? Never even been dropped to bench yet ? - Aldridge ?
Madine not done a lot wrong , Aldridge wasn't even here when we signed him? and DJ wont give him a run in side even though him & COG been only scoring forwards.
DJ said HE himself had worked ever so hard to get Rodri here , scored great goal on his debut and hardly seen him since ?
The list could go on and on!
Like I said open your eyes you'll see who is to blame for our plight, but you have to take the blinkers off first.

Thought I would place a bet on which player Jones would drop to accommodate Sidibe. The bookie laughed at me said that they had closed the book and asked if my carer knew I was out on my own.
