Were are these cairney rumours coming from?

If gray leaves and wilkinson is coach again we in trouble, how much will we spend I was optimistic when we got promoted but am now feeling a little underwelmed, we really do need to get some quality signing in feel its going to be a relegation fight again the second best supported team last year really should be deserving of better.

Have faith we were promoted with a squad who were well below what was required at championship level. In second half of season we coped. We need a few players to progress in the league but we should not rush into things and wait for correct players. I expect us to improve next season but without real investment £2-3 million in team unlikely to be promoted next season. Building a side on free transfers, loans and growing your own takes time.

Buxton, and others, are perhaps biding their time in order to see what Gray is going to do. The squad, as well as prospective transfer targets know full well what happened at S6 prior to him arriving. They will want him to stay just as much as our supporters. It will be interesting to see what happens.

He is hoping for a better offer.

Careful - you are in danger of criticising the manager!

That sounds feasible but I don't see how you could know.
Love to see Both Buxton and Gray stay.

Like Gray to stay but first post is not accurate.

If you were forced to wait until last minute before being offered contract would you not then exercise your right to wait until end of June before accepting?
Only a fool would sign immediately.

Its no good people just thinking of a name and saying we are interested and they are coming to S6, we have to be realistic - we are not going to get top quality players because we cannot afford their wages simple as that, we went down that road before and look at the mess we got into. We do have the basis of a decent squad to build on just look at what 4 more wins last season would have done for us 12 points - and we would have been up with the top teams. If we can keep some of the loan players we have, that would be a good start, if we can add a little more quality and a bit more consistency to our game then maybe we can make other teams sit up and take notice. If we can achieve this I think a challenge for a top 10 spot is certainly realistic. I'm sure DJ and MM have something in mind so let's just hope they are prepared to spend a little to put us on track. UTO

The above is a fair post and realistic. Would add one point do not mind someone posting a name if they admit it is their thought or wish list and how about explaining why they think someone would be a good signing. But producing a shipping order list and then saying official list etc just results in whole list being treated as a joke. You can often tell who the posters are as they include their favourite players who they have touted before and do not fit in with other players who have appeared in recent gossip columns.
