MM is slowly finicially strangling the club, we have on of the largest fan bases in any division but one of lowest budgets. Jones, es tactics begged belief with the squad we have, but in his defence he is unable to bring in the quality we need to push on because of MM, s penny pinching. In my oppinion a new regime is needed and quickly.

Milan saved the club in the first place the old board financially ruined the club.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think he's penny pinching he's just not prepared to spend what we can't afford, we've been there once remember UTO

Agree0 Disagree0

Jones has enough financial constraints against him his tactics reflect "best not lose attitude" Selling the club i'm gone etc

Before you call me "negspert" I assure you that I am as loyal an Owl as anyone else. However, if we detach ourselves from the deep emotional commitment to the club and are truly honest - how many of the current squad do we see as capable of leading us to the higher reaches of the division? Kirkland, Buxton, and Reda - yes, but who else?
£5 wouldn't scratch the surface. Time for the development squad to start producing.

I think we have more than you indicate but agree we need more quality players. The problem with Academys and Development regimes is they take time to bear fruit. It is widely acknowledged that Academies take 10 years to show results it will be less for development squads but will still take time. Previous Academy coaching regime did not work it failed to deliver and missed out on promising recruits. We were always told how good it was yet no first teamers resulted and no one came in for coaches. It was rubbish and it was only when wholesale change was threatened that Mccaukey moved on which was needed.
