Conner wickham signed for Leeds because if Leeds go up wickham will sign for them permanent that's why he signed for them and not us because we can't afford him

As I said before leeds look over your shoulder there's a team in blue and white catching you, and we pulled another 2 points back today. Good result again today. Guys it would be great to have CW or fryatt but if we don't get either well - we aren't doing too bad without them are we. I believe we are now safe and we will climb a little higher in the league, but to get promotion we are not yet ready. We need more strength and quality to achieve this, Rome wasn't built in a day - we do appear to be going in the right direction, let's hope it continues. I believe MM has our interest at heart and will not sell until he is satisfied he has the right buyer, but I will say this I am feeling a lot happier now than I have done for a long time. It's what a lot of us were saying from the start of the season that with a reasonably competent manager the squad we've largely had all season could do well and that's now being shown to be true.

If people actually read the reports on why Wickham went to Leeds and not resorted to idle speculation they would see that it wasn't down to the club missing out and MM being slow or not putting money in. We put a bid in for him same as Leeds but if you read his comments he went to Leeds because he believed he would get more games. With Madine coming back we have 5 players who can play up front, 6 if you include Lavery who is on the fringes of the first team squad now where Leeds only have 4 strikers so he will get more of a chance to play. He enjoyed his time with us and if circumstances had been different he probably would have come back but Gray decided we wanted something different up front and that's why we have Afobe and Best on loan.

What a load of rubbish, CW would get more games at Leeds than he would at Wednesday. We are several strikers none of them are much good (my opinion) we can't score goals.

Madine sick of hearing that some Wednesday fans rate him, the guy is div 1 player, dream on if you think he will make the grade. CW would be my choice before any of these.

It was him who said he would get more games at Leeds?
Whether Wickham was right in his thoughts or not is immaterial, they were HIS reasons! - or excuses?
I've posted loads for weeks about all this hero worship of CW, pointing out that he's not our player and never will be so move on!

No matter what the Wednesday will always be there. c'mon people stop sulking we still got antonio lee Kirkland reda jj helan mm an stu gray. What is the problem? Live for the matchday not what may have been or who we "could" of got.
