Hope so mate consistinsy is or main problem we should of put that game to bed today at halftime to b fair bkowl
Having attended the game yesterday I am confused by Jones insistence to yet again blame the referee. We drew that game because we have a midfield that cannot keep possession. Pugh and Prutton are shocking players who are clearly out of their depth. Helen is not much better and gets easily caught on the ball. When we were under the cosh we had 8 players defending on the 18 yard box making it impossible to get out. I thought Lita's attitude was a disgrace he had clearly spat his dummy out at being on the bench and played like he did not want to be there. Does anyone agree with my assessment? Or am I watching a different game?
It is true that the referee made a bad mistake, but one mistake does not explain a whole match. Yet again he had peculiar tactics and selection, but if someone else has to be to blame there is only the referee left. His outbursts are those of a desperate man and certainly don't do the club any favours
Well the ref didn't give a blatant free kick during the 93rd minute that cost us 2 points. I would say that was a fair shout.
Every fan is desperate at the moment and I would be really pusses off if our manager wasn't also.
UTO FTNE
You say it was a blatant free kick but quite frankly with those incidents sometimes you get them and sometimes you don't. Jones has a short memory as when we played away at the Dingles a similar incident went in our favour. Call me old fashioned but in my opinion Kirkland should have taken the ball and wiped the attacking player out. However if it was not for Kirkland's heroics we would be down by now, but he must be sick of the pressure he has to endure week in week out. Rather than blame the referee Jones needs to look at his midfield the worst I have seen in thirty years watching the Owls. Despite all of this it is still in our hands and we must take the game to Blackburn on Saturday. JJ needs to play from the start as in the previous two home games our first half performances have been tepid and we have lacked tempo.
I hear ya mate, but I do think it was worth a moan.
Barnsley did against us.
:)
If this chap thinks this is worst midfield must have had his eyes closed for a few seasons.
Potter Kavanagh couple of pearls in recent years. When Yorath was in charge it was horrendous.
This chap as you say, stated JJ should start the Blackburn game and look what happened. Your argument (I use that term loosely) is sadly flawed. You have mentioned two incredibly poor midfielders and a manager who had no resources at his disposal. Everything needs to be put into context. Jones has had funds and has assembled a midfield that struggles to keep possession.
Yet we still won, which really is the key point to any true Owl.
Again you have completely missed the point. The comments about the midfield related to the Bristol City game which we drew. You then have the audacity to question my support. I urge you to consider carefully before responding to posts as you clearly lack the intelligence to form a balanced argument.
WAWAW!
You seem to have missed my point but never mind. It could be argued that the key point to any true Owl is staying up. By all means respond to my posts but there is really no need to be quite so childish.
Your just finding any angle you can to whine about DJ. So the point hasn't been missed.
You have already been put in you place by one of the ed's and various other posters.
But hey, just keep insulting people for making innocent comments thus making yourself look like a complete tool.
The editor has never responded or commented on any of my posts. You are the only person I have disagreed with on these threads. The way you have ended your last post just about sums you up. You clearly lack the vocabulary to discuss these issues in a rational way. I would expect a child to use the term tool so I profusely apologise to you if you are stil
