i know you mean well as many leeds fans will but the one taints the many mate and this will haunt your club for many a year... know its a hypothetical situation but imagine if this had happened at a rangers celtic game or man u liverpool match?

To be fair, Leeds do already have quite the reputation.

Not the first time a player has been attacked. The difference this time is that it was a leeds [fan]?! responsable. Any excuse to hammer Leeds will be seized upon with both hands by both the media and the fa.

If you want sympathy for this or any other thug that attaches themselves to football go and post on another site.
AND ... Leeds fans reputation has been well earned over many years , if the club had made an effort to get on top of it then might be different now , but not interested so deserve everything they get.

And of course Clint Hill was looking to fight several of your innocent fans at once whilst on his own at the end of the 2010 Weds-Palace match. The Istanbul taunts were classy too, I'm sure them kind of fans are welcome. Just remember some of your so-called fans hands were also dirty.
That been said I would like to apologise on behalf of all the true LUFC fans to all the proper fans who just came to support their team and watch a game of football.
Violence should not be tolerated and ALL of those involved including their clubs should be punished.

Leeds fan here, and i have to say what an absolute disgrace that person was he brings a bad name on all fans! people like him need to be kept out of the game! Good game though, and good luck for rest of the season

No, Dave Jones was wrong. Don't ban them all. This was one complete person who needs locking up and a few other daft kids running around on the pitch. Shouldn't have happened, I agree and I want the person punished as much as the next man but don't tar us all with the same brush, there are thousands and thousands of decent Leeds fans who hate this kind of stuff.

Dave Jones was totally wrong in his spitting out his bile at Leeds fans last night. We are not all 'vile animals' who deserve banning from every ground. 99% of us there last night were deeply saddened and embarrassed by what happened. I was there with my 12 year old son. He was horrified as things turned ugly. On our way back to our car we were screamed at, spat at and shoved about. A middle aged man and a twelve year old kid getting in in the neck from thugs over the actions of one stupid c*** and a couple hundred persons ripping seats out. A very small number of Wednesday fans were far from blameless last night.
Jones is a fool for lumping all Leeds fans together. He shouldve sat down, taken some deep breaths and counted to ten before opening his filthy mouth.

Dave Jones did not spit out any bile, and unlike yourself didn't use foul language to express himself, so no justification for your "filthy mouth" statement.
I think you , me and any other decent minded person would have felt exactly the same if hundreds of small minded persons had been chanting obscene lies , based on an allegation that never came to court because the person who made the allegation backed down when challenged to prove it in court.
Mud sticks , even if no foundation .
He has a family too, how do you think his kids feel ??
All he said basically was anti-racism is topical at the moment, and what he had to endure was just as bad and should be dealt with.
I think most decent people would agree with him, regardless of their football loyalties.

You will surely acknowledge that had it not been for the actions of the fan/s who got on the pitch , and the obscene nature of chants from both fans the whole match experience would have been even better? Which is why Dave Jones is right when he calls for extreme sanctions, if nothing is done - nothing will change , and the minority will continue to spoil it for the majority and the majority should not attempt to defend any of it - by any so called fans !

We (Leeds) have not been as good as results suggest weve probably had a few good spells in games and made the most of them but we have generally been poor ion all areas of the field . its a fine line between winning and loosing in this league land i am sure you lot arent as bad as form suggests. tonight should be intresting and im sure the wednesdayu fans will match our support and provide a fantastic atmosphere
