In posted quite a few at beginning of season regards our needing a goal scorer. Madine isn't good enough (best we've got I agree) everyone else is a forward/target man. Get a lazy poacher in, doesn't matter what he contributes provided it's goals.

Bothroyd is a lazy poacher ......... does nice eggs I'm told ?

We don't know if Madine is good enough or not, he hasn't been given a chance this season, he is only 22 and is still learning give the lad a chance. A few minutes here and there when we are losing and chasing the game, and the odd game and then dropped if he doesn't score can't be doing Madine's confidence any good and strikers thrive on their confidence. Yet Bothroyd plays every game and is rubbish, as scored 1 goal in 12 games but if we do get a goal scorer in, I bet I know who will get dropped.

Only thing I disagree with is I think Madine is good enough. My only doubt was moving up a division but not now.
He's a natural finisher and he will make the jump, just needs somebody to show some faith in him and give him a run .
But you right DJ only sticking with one man - the only one not worth his place !
Llera banned this week so he got chance to bring Taylor back too.
That'll prove that us 25000 don't know zilch !

Totally agree with you mate if you give madine half the amount of game time we gave barkley to settle in then he will start to find his feet, how many teams get promoted from league 1 then drop there leading scorer to the bench

If Madine goes on to score 2goals every game Jones will say its all down to playing with his superstar love child !

Thanks for you support, the only reason I said we don't know if Madine is good enough is because he has never been given the chance to prove it. I truly believe he has the ability to score goals at this level, if only he was given a chance.

Can we not repatriate Bothroyd as well ? No, because while Everton want Barkley back, doubt that QPR are at all keen for Bothroyd to return - they perhaps hope to sell him for hard cash to a befuddled DJ.

If they do buy Bothroyd they better not be counting on season tickets money cos a lot of my mates and me , and probly thousands more wouldn't pay to see him regular.

Too right i totally agree mate cause since the first few ames bothcrap played ive stopped attending home games till DJ an MM see sence an send him back .

Since Beevers went to Millwall they have gone on a 10 game unbeaten run, they beat Leeds yesterday and are now 2 points off the playoffs. When he joined them they were a point worse of than us. Danny Shittu says he is the best young defender he has played along side, because he reads the game so well and is always where he should be. We can't keep a clean sheet to save our lives and we send him out on loan. Yet another great management decision by Jones.
