Yes I agree with you on that one , Kopman, there have been some silly posts about MM that he hasn't spent the money etc and the dodgy one and all that, but we were well and truly up the creek without a paddle having to sell players just to pay Tax.
Let's all have faith support the team and don't be so negative when the season hasn't even started.

Our under 21's beaten by the mighty Matlock town 3-1. Is this our team of top young talent? Our future first team players? The team that every player we sign seems to play for? God help us.

Back in the day my Sunday league team beat Matlock 7-1 in preseason. I scored an absolute belter (keeper cleared ball against my back).

Get real Strad - or at least get the facts before giving us more negativity.
We fielded 2 x 16 yr olds, 2 x 17 yrs and 3 x 18 yrs!
Like all pre-seasons matches there is a purpose behind these games. For the first team squad, it's primarily match fitness. However, for these youngsters, it is an opportunity to test ability against physically stronger position. Some kids can handle this at a surprisingly young age - that's why we see a few 16 yr olds making first team debuts - but these are few and far between.
Suggest you leave the development of the " next generation " to those who know how to bring them on, and try to look for positives in life!
