Iv said for two week something isn't quite right at Wednesday. My theory has been theres no money. Megson has slashed the wage bill by over a mil and got roughly 500k for spurr & m.morrison. Now yesterday i saw the yorkshire post online Megson has said put up or shut up, today online he said he wants players now. We do have a thin squad with our injury ratio obv we are gunna be a very thin squad. It is time mandaric squared some deals away now because when your manager bemoans whats happening it doesn't fill us fans with much confidence, after all it is us that pay our hard earned money.

From GM's article in the press he doesn't think MM & Aldridge are trying to sign the players that he wants ?
Does anyone else find this UNBELIEVABLE ? - - - To sack Irvine weeks after letting him spend over £1m Then draft Megson in to try to save the club when he can't sign anybody AND Megson succeeds Then ask Megson for a list of players he wants BUT make no efforts to sign them It's like a script for a bad dream - if it wasn't THE OWLS nobody would believe it. I think so a bid of 300,000 going in for him also megson wants mellor trying to sort out wages another bid is for chris o gady prob 400,000 and lastly danny batth on loan that's the squad

rumour as it hereford striker delroy facey set to sign 2 year deal, deal could be hold up as milan says he wants to offload more players first as the wage bill is too high.up the owls
Megson has already saved over a mil on wages so why would wage bill still be too high

There is some thing wrong at this club i can't understand why players turn down a club like wednesday avarage 17,000 fans every other week ok its leaguge one football but other teams seem to get there targets like Danny Green to Charlton average 10,000 if there lucky i think wednesday need to work harder to bring in good players other wise we will never get out off this division i would like megson to read some of the post on this site as wednedsay fans deserve to watch a quility team week in week out ( Chopper )

Danny Green started out at Charlton I believe, he was then at D&R, so it was pretty obvious he'd choose Charlton over us, don't you think?

It is no good having a go at Megson. He wants players, names them but is obstructed by financial wranglings. His article in The Star came precious close to having a pop at Paul Aldridge for being less efficient in bringing people in that he is at shipping them out. He seems as concerned as we are.

Totally agree with this post, what more can Megson do at this stage? He gave MM the list of players he wanted, we were never going to get them all obviously. But if MM & Aldridge had put as much effort into ACQUIRING as they have to OFFLOADING we'd be in much better shape. I just hope MM gives Megson the tools and time needed to do the job. I can't imagine there is a long queue of proven managers waiting to replace him and dying to work for MM

Charlton averaged 15582 at home last season not 10000. . . compared to our 17817 but i get ur point. . look at the end of the day its about money and if were not prepared to offer the coin the players aint gonna come

I don't like saying this but wednesday have no ambition we need 5 good signings and no one wants to come what does that tell you we need to get rid of sedgewick c morrison and a few more can't understand why he gave buxton a new contract and let m morrison go megson you want last this season out

Yes buxton is a better player than MM for sure. . .and can fill the CB role if needed. .MM was very dissapointing last season and looked like a rabbit caught in the hillsborough headlights
