In 2014 FK Baku, the club owner Hafiz Mammadov's financial difficulties forced number of players and personnel to seek new clubs, leaving club's future uncertain. However, club's situation stabilised on 15th August 2014.

Didn't MM's statement the other day say that there were other buyers in the wings if this deal does fall through. I get the feeling that if the deal with HM falls through we will get another person coming in soon. All the positives 19seventy9 mentioned plus if we have a good start to the season make us a very good prospect for any buyer.
