I saw Madine, Baath and Daniel jones leaving training ground at about 3.30 when taking my son to the academy for training and can confirm Daniel jones did indeed have a leg brace on.

We have got to give GM and MM a chance, club was in a state, look at signing Megson has made
Rob Jones, quality and strengthen defence
Danny Baath, quality and Wolves know his potential hence why he only goes out on loan
Julian Bennett, quality
David Prutton, quality and proven at this level
Jose Semedo, quality
Chris Lines, quality and proven at this level
David Uchechi, has something to prove
Ben Marshall, same as Uchechi

They both know we need strikers and are working to bring some in but won't be held to ransom, we need to get real and jokers posting we worse off than last season were we could have gone bust need to go away and support someone else
Get behind them if you are a true owl I had season ticket 4 12 years and will support me team no matter what

Believable8 Unbelievable0

Quality But we still can't beat the likes of Bournemouth who have lost good players and promoted Bury (you're having a laugh). What will happen when we face the likes of Charlton etc. If they are that good on paper we didn't have the worse start fixture wise so what has happened??

Agree3 Disagree2

WE LOST TWO AWAY GAMES - THAT"S ALL AND with a small squad half of them suffering from food poisoning. Lets see where we are - end of September - end of year - end of season ? We've made more changes than most - the results will come

Agree8 Disagree0

If we are going to go up (which is doubtful) we can only afford to lose a handful of games over the season. Losing 2 in the first week against weak teams doesn't bode well. We have a manager and wage structure that is failing to attract players of the right quality. Megson also fails to inspire either the players or the fans. I know its early days, but I honestly think it is going to be another mid-table load of crap.

Agree2 Disagree7

Check the records , over the last five seasons promoted teams are losing as many as a dozen games and still going up.
Promotion is won with your form AFTER Xmas NOT before we just have to stay in touch WHICH WE WILL WITH SUPPORT

Agree5 Disagree1

Listen, stop getting into a ridiculous panic about all this. We have had one very bad half and some mediocre play against mid-table league one sides. Even then we could quite easily have squeezed unjust draws from both fixtures. The lack of decent strikers is obviously a major factor, because neither Morrrison nor Madine are good at creating space behind opposition defences and that reduces the options for defenders and mid-fielders. The Marshall and O'Grady signings are first class, and things will improve with JJ back. Also, the good thing is that MM is an active chairman and will simply not allow the situation to deteriorate indefinitely.Keep positive and for God's sake don't create a negative atmosphere that will simply help spin us into a downward spiral of pessimism. It will not help the manager or the players.

Agree6 Disagree0

Thats what my original post was about, stop panicing and get behing the team, we been through worse than this and things will get better but it will take time, its not going to happen overnight and if you think it will you need to wake up

Agree2 Disagree0

I just want to add i agree with opening posts point but also think back 12 months, we were top of the league looking unplayable, oh how quickly that turned, we all then thought players that we had were good enough for championship, hmmm it will happen this will be our year why waste energy moaning it takes more effort to moan

Agree2 Disagree0

That's ok then. Hopefully we will lose another 7 or 8 before Christmas against poor teams and be well on the way to promotion.

Agree1 Disagree1

That's OK then. Hopefully we will lose another 7 or 8 to crap sides before Christmas and promotion will be secured.

You can't blame Megson for Players errors. You go with the runners not let them just run past you. Baisc football

Believable5 Unbelievable0

He picks the team and trusts his judgement Shocking two results

Agree1 Disagree1

Cant blame Megson for playin an injured striker against Bury?

Agree0 Disagree1

No the player makes the decision to stand still or put in a weak tackle not megson you can only blame megson if he doesnt do anything about it get a grip lot of ya who the hell do you think we are barcelona?

gary megson says we are stronger in defence and midfield what a joke worst then last season act now milan sack megson and get mark robins in before its to late cant aford to stay in league one need promotion this year loyle owls fans deserve better this team is poor

Believable3 Unbelievable7

Are you for real? U honestly believe our defence and midfield was stronger last season? Did u not c the mess Megson had when he first came to us? I would rather have the back 4 and midfield we have now than last season anyday Only area weakened so far is strikers and we got 2 weeks transfer window left Chill out or p*as off and leave real Wednesday fans on here

Agree4 Disagree0

REAL FANS --- GET OFF MEGSON"S BACK
If he had been allowed the QUALITY players he wanted for the OWLS --- the ones that MM said he would get ---THEN you can blame Megson, But MM has spent £350K -- DO YOU THINK THAT IS INVESTING IN PROMOTION ?? Megsons record is far better than Robins OR any of the other names thrown about by the DOOM MERCHANTS. MM has not backed Megson - HIS favourite What makes you think he would back somebody else ?? We need players who are better than the other Lge.1 challengers, WHO HAVE WE BOUGHT OF THAT STANDARD ?? Strikes me MM wants to put as little EXTRA money in to the Owls as he can get away with whilst he shops around for a foreign buyer to give him a quick return. WAIT AND SEE The REAL FANS should be calling for MM to KEEP THE PROMISES HE MADE -- NOT BLAMING, MEGSON, A TRUE OWL who would not have agreed to manage any other club at this level other than his BELOVED OWLS

Agree10 Disagree3

Bore off, we are 3 games into the season. We would be in league 2 right now if it wasn't for Milano. You say real fans get off megson's back, but get of Madaric's as well. There is no escaping the fact that we have had an atrocious team for years, it isn't going to turn around overnight. Furthermore, we don't have the same owners as Man City, our club is being run sustainably for the first time in over a decade. I think we need to accept that we are where we deserve to be right now.

This recent signing does not set my blood racing. How was it for you ?

Believable8 Unbelievable4

Thought Mr Megson did not want to utilise the loan market Really can't understand what is happening at Hillsborough. Not even played for Stoke's first team and loaned to lower league teams including Carlisle.

Agree4 Disagree0

Mr Megson DOESN"T want loan deals BUT MM doesn't want to spend any more of his money before he sells the club. FOR ME THE ONLY explanation for his unwillingness to protect his investment by improving the team AS HE PROMISED TO DO, Megson's hands are tied

Agree6 Disagree0

Obviously, GM does not want loan deals, but it is also clearly true that clubs are trying it on with the fees being demanded for the likes of Cody M and Le Fondre. Also Mellor's wages would break the club's wage structure, and that would create problems in terms of morale. In these circumstances, it is sensible to bring in Ben Marshall, who was well rated at carlisle, who by the way finished above SWFC in last year's first division.

Sheffield Wednesday have signed winger Ben Marshall from Stoke City on loan until January.

The 20-year-old began as a schoolboy at Manchester United before joining Crewe Alexandra in 2005, spending four years with their Academy. He was then snapped up by neighbours Stoke.

The winger, who can also play up front, had been on loan at Cheltenham and Northampton and made 42 appearances for Carlisle last season, scoring five goals.

Sheffield Wednesday have completed the loan signing of Ben Marshall from Premiership side Stoke City.

The 20-year-old wideman has joined the Owls until January 2012.

Marshall began his career with Manchester United's youth side before joining Crewe Alexandra's renowned academy in 2005, spending four years with the Railwaymen.

He signed for Stoke in July 2009 and has since enjoyed successful loan stints at Northampton Town, Cheltenham Town and most recently Carlisle United, where he has spent much of the previous two campaigns.

The highly-rated winger, who can also play up front, made 42 appearances in all competitions for Carlisle last season, scoring five goals.

Marshall said: "This is a great opportunity for me, it was an easy decision to make.

"My main position is a winger but I can play in the hole and up front. Hopefully I can bring some goals as well.

"I have played in front of big crowds before and I'm really looking forward to doing that here."

If Megson stays and we keep playing the same way we will get relogated, oh whoops this isn't a rumour it's fact

Ridiculous to be saying that after 3 games of a 46 game season. The word is relegated as well.

Enough bullsh@t MM.If you want us out of this division this year you need to bring in a quality striker.Ryan Lowe took the p@ss out of our team tonight. So what if he is 32? if he gets us up who gives a toss? get the chequebook out or its another season of disapointment.2 weeks left to save the season.sort it.

It starts with joint sponsorship, then we are 4 players short of anything like a squad,we have to play an injured player up front,my thoughts are,MM,thinks if we get relegated, things will look that bad,all the people in and around sheffield will say,oh lets join the clubs, sell a ground and both chairman can get the hell out of it with a profit.

I have been part of the Wednesday faithful for over 20 years. I hate to admit it, but we are dire. No idea, no hope. To add insult to injury United are 3 out of 3. I can't see us improving without quality investment. Back to the drawing board for GM & MM.

ive said this all summer not on here but other forums, we have done well to bring in who we have, and they are quality players however whe have NO creation or match winners. currently there is only jermaine johnson who you could say may turn a game for us, too many of our team go missing when we go a goal behind. the forward players begin to hide. why is this? is it through fear? or the players not wanting to take ownership of a game?

we need serious match winners for this club, yes we are a league one team but we are not a league one club, and bringin in players that are used to being heroes to 4,000 people is not the answer as it is alot harder to please 21,000. we need BIG characters

on a positive however we didnt start the best in 2004/2005 i distinctly remember turner getting sacked so the season is long and we will get better we have one thing the other teams in this league lack, MONEY, we will have the ability to strenghthen when needed so our team is more capable of lasting the course of a season unlike many other teams in this league
