So Megson wants 4 new players - a centre back, 2 strikers and a winger, well that's us screwed then. What about a passing midfielder? I guess we'll be lobbing it long then, or hoping JJ can do something. I've not felt this bad about a Wednesday side in a long, long time.

Semedo and prutton are both defensive types, and that's exactly why I posted what I did. We've moved an attacking/ goal scoring midfielder on in Miller and replaced him with a defensive type. I expect us to be pretty tight, but the football will be terrible to watch and it looks like we're going to have to rely heavily on the injury prone, inconsistent JJ. GREAT

How are we, these two players are great passers thus will give the striker(S) a lot more service to score goals by playing a passing game while also being tight at the back. Stop been so negative and look at Man Utd, they play carrick with fletcher sometimes. Dont think you can dispute that fact

LOL drawing comparisons between us and Man Utd is just plain daft Man Utd have quality and options both of which are things we don't have. JJ is average in this league and at the moment he's all we have to provide for the strikers. Tell me, how many assists does JJ have to his name over the last couple of seasons? There's no point in signing two striekrs if we aren't able to give them the service they need to score. I'd prefer to see us sign one striker and an attacking midfielder who is also capable of scoring.
