I would like ask these people who post ridiculous comments about how good or how bad certain players are week in week out which stand, gangway and row and seat number they are in because I'm sure most people don't go to any games and see what I see. Gillette soccer Saturday supporters!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We all sit in North Stand mate, we just all see things differently to you, strange that?

Agree0 Disagree0

The only player what stands out as garbage is Llera he's terrible simple pass in front of him and he hoofs it

Agree0 Disagree0

Lliera isn't garbage, he has strengths and weaknesses just like everybody else!

Agree0 Disagree0

Tbh I don't think its been too bad since the 90s 1 we watched the double over pigs (how many can say they have seen that that are still alive) and 2 our biggest win against leeds hmm. I was there in history fellow owls. And it feels good onwards and upwards I say.

Agree0 Disagree0

Llera is terrible he is easily the worst player at Wed And you can see it every match iwho ever write that above obv doesn't go to game s or has his eyes painted on

Agree0 Disagree0

Lliera has a sweet left foot, works his socks off, and has scored lots of important goals, more than any Owls CB for years.
He has weaknesses too but I like to be positive and focus on the strengths of our players
I do go to matches and I do try to see things in a balanced way.
Like I said all players have strengths and weaknesses - even the very best players.

Agree0 Disagree0

My honest opinion Llera is not worth a **** hopefully onyewu is betterjust my opinion he might get a goal now again but what about all goals we conceded because of his mistakes and how much possention we lose from his Hoff and bad passes

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree that llera is hit or miss but he has scored vital goals in the past some of which probably helped us stay up last season. We do look much better though last few weeks just need to sign perminant deals and push on next season, I don't want to keep struggling at the bottom end of championship every season.

Hull agree fee to sign Long from West brom, and signed jelavic, which opens a massive window of opportunity to sign Fryatt on loan to end of season! WAWAW

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Agree, and he's already proved he can do it for us, great player there for the takings, TAKE HIM MM!

Agree0 Disagree0

SG has confirmed we are after Fryatt.

I've hered a rumour If we beat burnley 10. 0 and then beat qpr 7. 0 Stuart Gray will get the job becouse then Milan thinks he will have deserved it they will sit down in a couple of days again to talk about it. What more as Gray got to do

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Totally agree, I think MM is in danger of disrespecting Gray now, and losing his own respect in the bargain.
The job was advertised and applicants applied, Gray was publicly given one target after another and he has pretty much exceeded them all.
The players have publicly backed him.
If he doesn't want to give him the job I think he owes Gray an explanation at least!
I should add that MM wants to be careful because if he douesn't act soon and Gray keeps this up somebody else WILL come in for him, and Gray WILL go!

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure I agree!
Gray was " given one target after another " - by who?
The Press, NOT the Chairman!
MM is extracting maximum effort now from many of the players who had stopped playing for DJ. They want SG in, but perhaps MM senses that they may take their foot off the gas once he gets the job. We desperately need to climb to relative safety, and if that means leaving things as they are, is that such a bad thing?
I'm certainly enjoying "the moment", after a disastrous run, as I'm sure everyone is. So relax and leave the Chairman to it.

The targets were given to Gray by MM. In almost every TV interview, when asked, Gray has said - I was targeted with getting us out of bottom 3 - keeping a clean sheet - etc.
He was also gracious enough to say - I'll keep preparing the team for the next match - its the Chairmans decision etc.
The point is - if you ride the wave for too long you WILL fall in to the water, and while it is definitely working let's cement in place what we have now, instead of exploiting people.
I'm sure you would not be saying - leave well alone - if you had put the effort in, and overseen the turnaround that Stuart Gray has?
You too would want MM to do the decent thing I suggest.

Agree0 Disagree0

Certainly think SG needs expalanation even if not given job. Persoally certain there is more to it than on surface as indicated before. Either some other manager has been promised job and what Gray has done has made it difficult or they can not agree on length of contract.

Agree0 Disagree0

There is a big difference between setting an employee a target, or rolling targets, and offering him a change of employment contract.
SG is doing that himself ( setting targets) with individual players each and every game.

MM has never come out and said " if you win the next 3 or 4 " or " get us out of the bottom 3 " for example, " you can have the job permanently "

I understand your point of view, and respect for SG and what he has achieved so far. However, MM cannot afford to be paying off another "mistake " if SG were to get the job and not succeed. His previous record at the helm is not inspiring!

MM is acting cautiously, and the reality is, he does not need to rush this decision. Current results have taken all the pressure off. And, the long term success of our club is far more important than individuals "rights ".

Let's hope for continued success throughout January, followed by SG's appointment, and then onward and upward.

Agree0 Disagree0

I understand what people are saying regarding SG but let's be honest we don't know what is happening behind closed doors, for example is there a take over in the pipeline or has Milan got somebody else in mind but doesn't want to make the change while things are going well or maybe SG and Milan have verbally agreed what will happen but want to keep it between themselves. Just a few theories but as I say we just don't know what is happening behind closed doors.

Don't want Lita he missed the chance to come back in the summer. Sam winnall from scunny would be a good signing. 13 goals this season pretty good. Clayton Donaldson and jay Emanuel Thomas wouldn't cost to much. Must be able to dip in pocket mm. These type of players are what we need. Anyone noticed Ryan Lowe and Leon Clarke are top scorers in league 1 with 29 between them. Scored about 10 between them for the owls :/

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Donaldson and Lowe are not Championship players really do not know enough about Winnall.
We got decent fee for Lowe and was then released by MK Dons after poor season.
Lita can score at this level but Gray likes industrious players and he does not meet specification.
