ROD is an excellent prospect but he needs regular football and he showed last year he's not ready for the Owls. Chessie is a good signing for him, good luck to him for the future.

In regards to mandaric and transfer budget, there is an interview showing mm saying that dj has control but also responsibility of spending the money. So if antonio wants to come back and DJ is interested i dont see what the problem is as that is a good investment and his price tag wont be ridiculous.
I think DJ having such a great start to his career at wednesday has given mm a boost of confidence that DJ will know what he is doing when it comes to good signings. he's already proven that in the late loan market

FREEMAN what a player exactly what we need. He can pass defend well and untouchable when on the ball with great vision. Young so can only grow. DJ sign him up. Stevenage didnt comploment him in the way they play and with the players around him. With the players we ve got he would be twice the player he is now. If you concentrate on his play last night you'd see he is class apart
The United/Stevenage play-off was dire. Don't know why Danny Wilson thought it was "terrific". Huddersfield would have destroyed either team. As for Freeman: I saw nothing that excited me. Worked hard and ran with the ball when he could ,but I saw nothing of the supposed incision.

Totally agree about Luke Freeman, best young prospect I've seen in lower leagues for years. Utd had three men on him constantly, nobody in Stvnge side on same wavelength as him , and he still had a big say in the game .
To the earlier posters who couldn't see it, just watch for him playing in Prem in a couple of years, I just hope its with the Owls !
The above comments on Freeman are unbelievable. Decent control but lacks physical strength, will always be a reasonable league 1 player. Wenger bought him from Gillingham and then released him. Jones is a mate of Wenger so he will know all about him.
The lads 19, great prospect! you dont need to be the most physical to compete, look at your scott sinclairs, wanye routledges even look back a couple of years at at steven mclean, chris brunts, JP Mcgovern not the most physical but still competed!
You can not even get his age correct he was 20 in March.
