The big problem on here and at hillsborough is this, there are two types of wednesday fans.
the first are the wednesday fans who will back the team/management owners no matter what, happy clappers
the second is people who have actually played or kicked a ball in their lives, who will slag players off when they don't put a shift in and will say that no matter how hard someone works doesn't mean that they are good footballers e.g antonio and ogrady, they want managers sacked because they can see the tactics are totally wrong and can see they are getting no better.
there are too many happy clappers who think everything will be alright, truth is it wont, dave jones needs to go and go quick, he is taking us down and people who say give him time, how much time do you give him?
you will see by how many people say i am wrong but i will see what they are saying when we are in march/april when we are still in this situation.

That's a bit harsh. I think we probably have too many fans with extreme views. Some as you suggest can be a bit blinkered and think everything will be fine and those that are far too critical and constantly want changes in players managers and owners. Well that hasn't helped us over the last 15 years has it. I've been critical of Jones and agree he is not as good as he thinks he is but things have started to turn around so he must get some credit. Chopping and changing players doesn't always work and can be very costly. And new owners are not that easy to find and there's plenty of clubs who are regretting the arrival of their millionaire benefactors. MM saved this club and if he doesn't want to spend his own money to buy new players that's his choice. As long as he invests any profits the club makes that's fine by me. Not having a go mate just giving some balance. After all WAWAW

I think your wrong

Totally agree with your comments mate
Dave Jones is not going to take us anywhere, on his own he was very poor, Stuart Gray has organised us
I went to MK Dons last night and was totally blown away by his team selections, you never change a winning team unless you have injuries
Giving players a good run improves confidence, chopping and changing week in week out is not good
To all you Dave Jones fans you will open your eyes and see what he is like but by then he will have done the damage and took his money and buggered off

The first post is from the same person who has been writing tripe on this site for last few months. Look forward to log ins when it will show how many disseters really are and where true loyalty lies.

The exact same post is on another well known wednesday site.
I'm disappointed with jones this season but he has had a tight budget to work with.
But he doesn't seem very open and sometimes comes across as arrogant.
I wish he could come out and say what is happening with the likes of rodri, maguire and pecnic and why he signed them if he thinks they are crap.
They may be not the players he thought but are jj and antonio better in those positions? Wouldn't rodri relish playing where jj did on saturday?
I can't for the life of me see what he sees in sidibe but i'm putting the bothroyd saga down to a contract clause.Taylor, he made a genuine mistake but has realised it quite early. To be fair he's not as uselss as people are making out.Just not as good as gardner or llera.
Anyway, i think he can keep us up and next year improve us if MM lets him spend a couple of million.
MM will hopefully sell us if he isn't willing to push us on.
I think sometimes people do have blinkers on.I can see why people wanted jones out and many gave good reasons. But those for him couldn't come up with any reasons why.
I wanted jones sacked in november but now i'm seeing that things are going in the right direction.
We could still go down if luck was against us but i think we will be ok.

Heard he was saving rodri for the FA cup final but that's out the window now. So maybe we just got him to teach him english so another club can step in and reap the rewards after all that's one of the things we do best, and nobody can argue with that (can they ! ?? )

So much for DJs special relationship with JB and being able to get best out of him?
DJ tried and persisted for 3month and failed, Harry does it in ONE game!

Dave Jones has got to go! On my way back from Mk Dons another spineless inept performance Why change a winning team? Why not stick with a winning team instead of dropping half of the team we need some consistancy!

To keep away injuries to focus on survival business wise or general wise, very good mentality for dj to have! uto xx

As soon as I heard the team news tonight I said to my mate we'd lose. Why seven changes???????? Why not play the side that beat hull (apart from Helan) an keep the confidence going while developing a way of playing away? An ideal opportunity missed and sorely needed money lost

Priority is league, we have limited squad and performace against Burnley shows that they cannot playig same XI twice a week without running out of steam. Also proves that those advocating Madine and Pecnik as potetial saviours do not know what they are talking about. Both hopeless tonight.

All the experts have been going on about Pecnik for months. Did he do anything? Nope.

We are not going to win the fa cup survival is the key this season
All it shows tonight our fringe players are not good enough madine, semedo, included

Stop the press! We're getting unconfirmed reports that jay bothroyd has actually scored! DJ will be ranting about how good he is in the star tomorrow and how not signing him on a permanent basis will cost us dearly for years to come!

tonights defeat has shown us pecnic should be sold madine should be loaned (not sold for me) corry loaned every game a cup final now i'd rather go with experience of coke, prutton
Taylor sold (clearly poor)
Lines and semedo - sold ( never forget last season from either player but can't cut this level )
COG - unsure on the cogster never doubt his work rate and could be useful in tough away games
All of the above had a chance to show what they can do tonight but let themselves down
Believable1

It certainly shows limitation of our squad. Correct key players were rested, after consecutive games find it difficult to maintain high work rate required.
Think Semedo has a role to fulfil agree with other comments.

How can you rate Lines at this level, he's played 3 games?!

Can we finally put this Pecnik fallacy to bed?
Believable1
Unbelievable0
Yeah because we should expect a bloke to come in when he's not played for weeks and turn on the style.
If you listen to ex pros on they always say you need a run of 10 games.
Not saying he's good or bad but one match doesn't prove anything.
He scores goals for his country against better defences than the MK dons defence though i'm sure.
Agree5

Point well made, none of our CFs have had a long enough run in team to judge em fairly.
They should have all had 6-7 games early in season and when JB was played week in week out, we might have found something out but we still don't know.
Another example recently, Maguire came in and did OK for me but a few games on trot would have helped him, but where's he gone?
Madine got dropped twice for the game after he had scored?
Rodri scored on debut then vanished?
Would love an explanation but why should the fans be told anything, what's it got to do with them ?
Agree4
Disagree0
Exactly, players can't just be expected to come in for 1 game and set the world alight, they need a run of games. All this stick Madine takes is totally unjust!

I can't believe it bothroyd has scored and sounds like he has had a good game

Just goes to show how our negative fans can destroy a decent players confidence. Well done though lads, you guys have been at it for years.

Bothroyd never WANTED to play for us he was forced to, he came on loan and while ever he was fit he was picked, it was all in the loan agreement.

If a player loses confidence that easy he's not the sort we need.
We need players who have confidence and character and don't hide when some fans tut and moan through frustration.

Maybe we need better fans?

Nigel Reo-Coker has turned down a contract at Ipswich and is looking for a longer contract. Would be available on a free agent. Experienced midfielder.. Could be worth a shot!
