I'm going to do a little survey to see just how many sheff wed supporters are for or against Dave Jones
Those who want him out agree he should go those who want him to stay disagree.

Would like to see the back of him but I wouldn't stoop so low to post some of the utter tripe that so called fans do on here.

If he had any pride or morals he would walk rather than be pushed and not demand a pay off. But that won't happen. If he's pushed he will sue us. And frankly, who would want the job and would be an improvement knowing that if a takeover goes through they will probably be sacked and they won't have any money to spend until then? It is a poisoned chalice, let DJ just suffer the indignity of taking us back down IMO.

Regardless of what we think DJ is here till the takeover is complete unless he walks away before then, he has agreed the terms of a payoff and will leave when the takeover is done. If he does decide to leave before then, and he won't as he won't get any money, then we will have a caretaker manager until the takeover is done. That is the only logical explaination as MM has fired managers for runs worse than DJ's current run so he must be waiting for something. Roll on the takeover and a new manager :)

Can't credit the first man who said Nilsson for manager. The website archive doesn't go back far enough so can't find the person who mentioned it before DJ was signed, might even have been before GM

Our chief asset as far as selling the club is concerned is the volume of support. We all know that things have gone awry and that we have one of the poorest managers in this or any other division. However, the constant and loud battering of the squad and the griping about lack of ambition do not help MM to sell us on. Perhaps we ought to give it a rest for a while, hope for a win and celebrate loudly if ever that day should arrive. Yes, I have been one of the loudest gripers and still do not change my opinion about the basic facts, but I am prepared to shut up about it in the hope that I can be one small part of a sweetening of the air.

Very sensible post, all true wednesday fans are hurting at the moment.
Far harder to bite your tongue and behave than moan and gripe like a child.

Clough my arse! Roland Nilsson is lined up for when the takeover happens, Wim Jonk as his assistant.

Dave jones is as good as it gets for us right now. Fully behind him 100% Wednesday fans never happy with managers. Bout time we started supporting one. He's had no money living on frees and loans. Love to see clough Roland and jonk give that a go! Most will be back on here giving it the clough out garbage within the year. No balls and you your opinion changes with the breeze. Up the Wednesday!
