Wednesday are not signing any more players get megson out no one wants to play for him
I don't like hunting heads or making rash decisions, but there has to be a worry that, with his heavy insistence on physical labour Megson will deter some players - and possibly the very players we need to give the side spark.
Does everyone think that megson is the ONLY manager who trains people hard in pre season? EVERY CLUB has it hard trust me. no-one enjoys it but they are professional players they understand it has to be done, give over with get megson out before a ball has been kicked stop worrying, negativity will NOT help and with people negavtive all the time we will go nowhere
Hang on - do you want a fit side that doesn't concede in the last 15 mins of every game cos if so they need to be fit - he has signed Semedo & Prutton - two midfielders we desperately needed. He has signed Bennett - a full back we desperately needed. He has signed Jones a centre back that we desperately needed.
Personally fancy dans that don't work hard enough and who arent fit enough arent welcome at S6 anyway. And Megson has been away in austria all week so what business could he really do from there. He gave Paul Aldridge and Milan a list of players he wanted - do you think they all want to come to play League 1 football. Perhaps some of them want to stay in a higher league or indeed move into a higher league.
So far GM, PA & MM have brought in 4 decent pro's.
Yes we need a couple of strikers and perhaps a winger but there is 3 weeks of pre season left and the chances are that the players we will bring in have been having a tough pre season at their own clubs.
Lay off Megson for gods sake - give him a chance - he was left with the garbage that Irvine brought in and Milan has supported him in getting rid of a lot which undoubtably will have cost us a lot of money. Now he can be judged on his team, he has kept what he wants and brought some new faces in - judge him at Christmas just like Mandaric will.
I agree, give GM an opportunity to turn the club around and don't expect promotion this season. I'd rather not go up and build a team for the future then rush for promotion and not challenge on the next level. I think he has made shrewd signings so far. The players will come, most clubs have not completed all there transfers yet either
