I was not a big fan of DJ but there is no way
this fella is so much better. SG had a bit of luck when taking over. I have noticed we have lost 4 out of the last 6. How many times did DJ lose in the last few minutes then came on rueing the bad luck we had. I suspect we will all be sick of SG coming on doing the same in a bit! its starting to
become a losing spate again and no I am not a doom and gloom merchant. Birmingham are pretty good away by the way so three on the spin perhaps??
Wednesday are joke simple as that!
Cmon what you talking about. We held quite well tonight against a team whos record is wwwww including at man city. And that's without our "better" players who are injured. But we still need a decent striker.
Op here! We have been needing a decent striker for 10 years!
SG has a better persona than DJ and along with the better results it was refreshing! Surely you can't deny We are losing quite a few games now, obviously injuries are a factor. Of course we did OK and lost late on to a good side. But like I say we are going to hear SG spouting how hard we worked to lose in last few minutes and that is going boring in time. Running Wigan close has no relevance to Birmingham they aren't as good as Wigan but they can win away!
OP - your total post/s make no sense at all apart from you want a moan!
You acknowledge SG has achieved better than DJ.
You acknowledge our squad is limited, we need a striker ( and more?)
You acknowledge we have loads of injuries.
You acknowledge that even though Wigan have a much better squad/team than us we ran them close (we actually deserved to win!)
You point out, to those of us who know less than you, that Birmingham can win on Sat. - so can we, so can any of the 1000s of teams playing football every weekend.
I think that's the general idea of football, it's 11 v 11, and either one side wins or it's a draw!
As I said your post is simply a moan that we are not winning every match when we all, apart from a few like you, know that can't happen, especially at this point in our history.
But at least we are still writing it, try and be thankful for that at least!
To OP again- anything to add to your OP now we've actually played Birmingham?
OP here it was a good performance for sure! A good result because Birmingham have 7 away wins!
Priceless result. Could do with a draw against QPR rather than a loss!
Still some work to do. Doncaster won't be easy away either.
Every game scares me actually in this league!
To OP again - Agree with your last post, can't predict ANY results in this league!
I just think QPR will be more nervous of us than we are with them tonight, they seem to be feeling the pressure of expectations on them!
2wins and 2draws should be enough for us, and is no way beyond us in our current form.
I also think we will bring 1or2 more in next week to strengthen and have a look at ready for next season.
