Never again will I step foot in to Hillsborough while Dave Jones is manager. I didn't agree with the sacking of Gary Megson who was winning games week in week out when he was boss so him being sacked was obviously not a football issue. If it was and was based on the team and results then how come Dave Jones is still in charge? Come on Milan run the club properly and treat the fans fairly and with the respect that we deserve. We are grateful that you saved us when you took over the club and good on you for backing the current manager in the transfer market (which DJ made a right mess of) but please don't neglect your sole duty as chairman & owner of SWFC which is doing the right thing for the club. Nobody's saying that you've to reinstate Gary Megson, just get someone in who can do the job that Dave Jones clearly can't.

An excellent post and I fully support your feelings about Megson and his treatment.
To reward what he had achieved without spending a lot of money, with a sacking was shameful treatment for a loyal servant of our great club . (I wondered at the time if it was payback for GM walking out at Leicester?)
MM gave his own reasons which we have to accept and respect. But if that was the case then what is so different now.
Then we were in play-off zone with no real need to panic, now we're in relegation zone with no signs that DJ has the tactics, the coaching staff, or even the enthusiasm, judging by his interviews, to turn this season around.
I echo your appeal to MM to act now just as decisively as he did last year because if he doesnt all I can see is a long season ahead ending in the inevitable.

So we lost 3 on trot before blunts? So far this year weve won 2from13 soon to be 2from17 at least , cos cant see us winning before we play Bristol C. and then itll be fingers crossed !!
What you forget is Megson had nowt to spend and was successful while DJ has wasted a small fortune in comparison and we are awful

Season ticket holder here for over40 years yes I don't think dj is the right man but also didnt like g megson tactics get one thing right we wasn't winning week in week out and nobody knows if he would have got promotion I for one didnt think so

I for one think we would have still got promoted and we wouldnt be where we are now. We all have an opinion.

The only thing we do at the moment is lose week in week out. I could do that as manager.
I think GM took us as far as he could, and so has DJ. Iv always thought the guy was a bit of a pudding and somebody who it would be difficult to respect.

Milan is never going to fetch gary back as manager,to do that would say he got it wrong in the first place .The man for the job was mcarthy,If i was a betting man ipswich will finish higher than us ,all this rubbish if we finish above bottom 3 from jones is success is getting my back up, lets compare our gates season ticket holders and the revenue it produces,if we finish in 19th place he deserves sack

Totally agree with the last part, for fans to say staying up is success is unbelievable !
MM said at end of last season he and DJ would be trying to keep it going, not promising another promotion but having a go .
He then supported DJ with his signings bringing in 8-9 at least.
I dont believe for a minute that MM will think staying up is success ??
In fact I would bet that MM has already put things in place and a date in his diary when DJ will be summoned if things dont improve, and that will definitely be before Xmas !!

Mr Megson took us as far as he could dj put the cherry on top and got us up and for that fan who posted never step in hillsborough again I say good riddance who do you think next manager will be then let me guess redknapp or wenger or it could be sir alex. ME OWD THE OWL

Never is a long time,a football club when you say its the club you are going to follow you go with the good times as well as bad,I have been at hillsborough with 8000 for a league game club skint always hoping for things to improve we had ashurst,big jack and wilko,and big ron to name a few we had good times and bad ,but always hoping for better just like now.KEEP THE FAITH SUPPORT THE OWLS WHATEVER.

Who said they would stop supporting the Owls??

Maybe you are content with sitting through the bad times but thousands of fans want more, and rightly so.

Of course i want more but we get what we get.

As mm told dj to get players on the cheap if so that's no way to run a club who has just gone up into the championship apart from Antonio and pecknic the other signings are rubbish and would nt get in any other championship side please mm buy some well known quality players in January i watched wednesday on sky lastnite apart from Antonio the rest were crap who told Daniel jones he could defend hes really is terrible we have better defenders than him at hillsborough way not play them? Changers are needed know i go to all the home matches they played really poor most of the time they aint got a clue just like dj

Megson signed Antonio not DJ and youre right Pecnic is a very, very good player . But DJ wont play him because its rumoured that MM signed him without asking DJ if he wanted him ??? Dont know if thats true but DJ might regret upsetting the boss now results havent gone the way he expected.

I didn't see Jones wearing rose tinted glasses last night or did I miss something. He blames Madine for not putting away a chance when we were 3.1 down and the defence when the problem, as it has been all season is in the inexperienced midfield. He keeps telling everybody that we have very good players at the club if that is so why are we losing so many games, surely it has not got anything to do with the coaching and the team set up? Think he is living on planet fantasy.

Totally agree - and I think a lot of our fans are living there with him if they think he can turn this around .
One statement alone makes it obvious that DJ has lost the plot , he said ...... after we got the equaliser we were in control , they had gone ....... was he there ??
If thats how he sees things there is no wonder we are in trouble !!
And I know every body is sick of hearing it but what does Bothroyd add to the team that gets him picked every single week while everybody else is in and out of side if they are lucky ???

Do we know if Bothroyd's contract terms have a clause which means he must be picked if fit ? Sometimes loan terms are controlled by the parent club. Can't think of any other explanation for his inclusion.

It must have some sort of clause in it ........ otherwise DJ would be stupid to keep picking him wouldnt he ???

Well DJ is willing to play JJ at full back but not as a winger... So I'd say yes he is...

DJ will get it sorted stop moaning and support your club ,call yourselves fans a club is for life ,take the good with the bad and get on with it.

Its so obvious players have lost confidence in dave jones and when that happens we all no the manager has to go! Uto

Lets see who's moaning when we are back in L1!

It's because I care about the club I want rid of Jones now. It's too late once were back in the pub league

I will carry on watching wednesday whichever division we are in.

I'm sure you will, which is commendable. However, that really isn't the point.

please mm sack him now this is shocking and i have to say.a laughing stock,
he hasn't got a clue who to play! and boothroyd? how many shots of his actually hit the target?
by far the worse Wednesday side I've ever seen and when a manager signs loads of players and doesn't play any of those you know he's messed up and although i don't like to see people out off work he needs to pay the price,

I am not bothered in the slightest what anyone says about the owls,could be a non league club and still be the best team in the world to me.

That's fine, but would you not prefer to stay in the championship for now?I know I would.
