CC came over well in the press conference, liked his approach. Someone mentioned a few days ago about smoke and mirrors DC and co certainly playing their cards close to their chests. Much happier now onwards and upwards.

Given that Milan advised us that we were losing around £5m a year, and that crowds were slightly down last year, and presumably wages will definitely be going up this year, it doesn't appear there will be a great deal of "wriggle room" with the budget.
However, and I've posted this before, that is why I believe Mr Chansiri sponsored and put his own name on the shirts.
It allowed him to put £5m - £10m - £20m, whatever it was, of his own personal money directly into the coffers to fund the playing side improvements without breaking the FFP Regs.
It was nothing to do with his "ego" as some have tried to suggest, its just a way to help achieve his aims .
