Jones was on radio earlier. Mm told him we can bring players in but only if we unload some 1st! Brilliant.can only think of 2 or 3 that are saleable an wots the point in gettin rid of those. Its a joke. Everyone round us buyin players
Ipswich bought another striker today. Wilson also on an said they, re lookin at players. An they, re supposed to be skint. P....d off!

Believable9 Unbelievable1

Relegation it is then

Agree2 Disagree1

Agree with MM here. Why sanction further spending when your manager's already signed loads and not bothered to give them much of a chance?
That said, unless MM acts quickly we're surely doomed. I hope I'm wrong. JR

Agree1 Disagree0

Mm all about the money

Dave Jones lives in Hampshire and only works Thursday to Saturday! We need a Full time manager not a part time golfer.

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Cant say how, but I know that up to 2days before Gray came in, DJ hadn't spoken directly to any of the playing staff for over 4weeks, other than team talks in the changing room on match days .
I'm guessing, because that I don't know, that not much has changed.

Agree0 Disagree1

How do know that mate

Sounds like a good job

seems these Buxton rumours wont go away...

http://www.qprrumours.co.uk/

bring in megson with sheridan assistant and sign niklas bendtner for £6m then we'll have a chance of staying up IMHO

WAWAW UTO

Believable3 Unbelievable4

Who posted this, Arsene Wenger in an attempt to offload Bendtner? Glad you're not in charge at S6. Would be nice to see £6M spent across the team but it's not going to happen any time soon.

Regardless of DJ being a good manager or not and MM saving our club, for us to be struggling like this someone hasnt done their job right, plain and simple.
A club of our size and no debt should not be in the relegation zone. You can not defend people when they have clearly failed.
We cant compete with forest cardiff leicester blackburn this year but what about the rest.
It astounds me that people cant see we are in a state we should not be in.And call all worried fans moaners and experts.
Tango could have been manager this season and it would have been hard to be in this position.
Complete shambles and i wont be going again if we dont make any decent signings in this window.

Believable11 Unbelievable1

Common sense summing up, well done.

Agree6 Disagree0

Something very wrong at S6 if MM is selling Why isnt he spending to make it a more attractive business if he's not selling surley it would make more sense to keep us in championship. Or dosent he believe DJ's jugement in selecting players but cant afford to pay him off ?? eric the owl

Agree2 Disagree1

You right on both points Eric, except if talks have been going on for a while the club would have had a valuation done and agreed at some stage, and if MM spends money after that it's dead money as far as he's concerned. I think MM was expecting to have the deal done by bend of year but something's slowed things down, possibly our lge position?
It all makes sense to me?

Agree2 Disagree0

Totally different proposition now to when MM took over .
Although he has spent very little on playing side we did get promoted which added real value. To his credit he has spent a lot of money behind the scenes to bring "the business" up to modern standards, and something any prospective buyer would be interested.
More importantly we are debt free now as opposed to " a can of financial worms " before MM came in. This has not happened by accident of course, they are all building blocks to selling a viable business - as opposed to a successful football club, which is what the fans want.
So the answer my friend is lots of people will be interested in buying us, the only stumbling block will be MMs valuation ie how much profit he wants to make but he certainly won't be out of pocket that's for sure .

Agree3 Disagree0

You could be right mate, or we could be totally wrong and they have a cure in the pipeline. I'm hoping that is the case because any other scenario just isn't worth thinking about and to be honest I'm getting worried and I don't think I'm alone with these thoughts. The club are giving nothing away, not even a hint of don't worry guys we have it in hand absolutely zilch eric the owl UTO

Agree0 Disagree0

The team was not good enough to stay in lhis league on promotion. We eeded good money spending to be competative this has not happened. I am not surprised we are struggling.

Agree1 Disagree0

I agree with the OP I was saying a similar thing last week. When ppl say we cant compete with Leicester, Forest and the like, that is OK by me!
What sticks in my throat is the reason given by DJ and others for failure is it is a tough league.
Very true but teams to go up to another level and survive and progress. The way they talk is
Wednesday cant expect to stay up!
Why not?? I dont expect top 6
but why cant we survive, we are
big enough to be a championship club. I know Forest and leicester are
similar size but have more finance
that is Ok but we should be able to stay in this league. Jones does not think we should stay up he almost says that. Bradford City are already talking
of promotion from lge 1 next season.
My god they have not got out of lge 2 yet! But they think they are a big club. Why cant we compete with the
peterbros, watfords and Millwalls?

I don't believe we will go down this year, I think we will grind out enough results to just stay up. SG's appointment has got the players believing again and he seems capable of getting them playing to there potential. However I don't think that staying up by the skin of our teeth is good enough and I hope that DJ will go in the summer. We need someone who can instill a bit of passion and pride into the players, a manager who the players would lay down there lives for, I hate to say it but Warnock is very good at this but I think attendences would fall to zero if he came in :) I'm sure there are other managers out there who fit this bill but can't actually think of any others apart from that w**ker

Believable4 Unbelievable0

You obviously not thinking hard enough, you could fill a book with better candidates than him . 2 books!

If Southampton lose this weekend it could be an end to Nigel Adkins . If owls lose this weekend will DJ keep his job job intresting developments might well take place as MM might have been waiting for this moment! Is this the reason why MM has not backed him in the transfer Market so far after missing on strikers that could have come in to do jobs job, who knows time will tell??

Believable2 Unbelievable0

DJ is here for the long haul I fear and I'm now beginning to think he would even survive relegation. I wish I could see a glimmer of hope somewhere but I can't.

Need off wage bill....
Weaver as much as i love him he aint gonna play
Bennett
Reynolds (out on loan but try n get summat for him)
Coke (not sure where he is)
Sidibe

Loan out Madine if not gonna play him
Do we really need this keeper from Everton?
Kirkland, Bywater and Jameson enough

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Coke played in game against rotherham other night

Agree1 Disagree0

I'd loan madine out.I still think he can improve.
I'd send sidibe back and get a younger striker in with a better goal scoring record.
We don't need to sign anyone this season, good young premier players on loan will do till may.
Then MM must cough up some coin.
