roger johnson made a great start to his wednesday debut played for reserves against rotherham reserves and lost 3-0 at middlewood. maghoma buxton and olifanjana also played.
1.) With Roger Johnson first of all we need to forget the Wolves situation.
for now he is with us till the end of the year. We need to support him
he will need a few games to settle in!
Then we can judge him in a few weeks time on how he plays and integrates with us! As long as he behaves Ok we must not get on his back the first few games!
2.) Lets see if he came make it 4 relegations in a row with us
3.) What is it with this 'they need a few weeks to settle in'. Can you see anyone turning up at one of Sheffield's few remaining rolling mills and being told, no pal, you take it easy you need a few weeks to settle in. This really does get me going: how much do these guys earn!

I agree with you about general employment and that you don't have time to settle in very true.
Football though is based on confidence! I know he is a forward but look at Wells at Bradford he is flying! To be honest to get a player as good as Roger Johnson to replace Gardner is potentially a good replacement for a few months!
It is better us the fans if he plays well and gets some CONFIDENCE early on then he will play to his potential! My point was if we don't get on his back too early he may leave the past from Wolves behind him! Footballers need games to get up to full sharpness and he is in a new team so it takes time to gel properly with the other guys!
Raking up the past too soon may
get him laking about again but we want him to do the job that's my point! Confidence is 80% what football is about!
