Do Roeder and his fellow members actually want an experienced or high-profile manager? It was made clear that they are in charge of recruitment and are looking for a head coach - they would have problems with the likes of Big Sam.

I can see where you are coming from Ian but at this stage I/we don't want to think along those lines.
Its very early days for DC so it could be just naivity or just plain ignorance about the game he's bought in to, at this stage?
Hes recruited advisors so until he knows them better he will trust and follow their advice, I guess he has no other choice for now? I can only believe that is why Stu has gone and if rumours are to be believed he will be replaced by someone who at best looks no better?
However until the new manager, whoever that might turn out to be, gets his feet under the table and his players "in the building" we have nothing at all to judge him on.
If the new manager doesn't hit the ground running I suspect he will be shown the door , and hopefully the advisor who picked him as well. If he succeeds we all win!
Looking at the facts only, we do know DC has pots of money and he didn't accumulate it by wasting it . So if he is making mistakes now, as many of us think he is, he will be just as keen to remedy them going forward.
We have to believe he bought us to take us to the Prem because that's where the 'pot of gold' is and its a very big pot these days.
Any other reason than that makes very little sense, to me anyway?

Totally agree, since the appointment of Mr. Roeder I have been waiting for it all to go wrong! He is a totally failed manager, and has somehow got himself a job advising our new owner, someone who I imagine has no knowledge of our team, history, or indeed any English football knowledge at all! Glen Roeder now finds himself in the position where he can advise DC to appoint another failed coach, I believe this is so he can once again find himself being "the boss" he will have his puppet that he will then tell exactly who to buy, sell, and play. We might as well make Roeder the manager. God help us

Starting to look a bit ominous.

Maybe the big bucks we paying roeder could be better spent, on a manager and some players.

The thing that I can't get my head round if CC is to be our next Manager and suppose to be done and dusted why is there no comments from the club via press conference, press etc have they decided to look elsewhere?

If you really are Cams Grandad, you must have been around long enough to know that not everything you see in the press or hear in the media is the whole story - to put it nicely.
Forget those "fat ladies" and wait for Mr Chansiri to start singing.
I'm still hoping he's going to come up with a No.1 for us that nobody's heard yet!

Well howler he wants to get a riddle on and yes I realy am Cams granddad, the worry I have is if we have no manager does that mean Reoder is going to be making the signings or is he going to be making the signings who ever comes in

Chansiri must run his own business better than Wednesday, just a week ago I was looking forward to a great couple of weeks.
I am sorry to go on about it but Wednesday have a habit of not only letting the supporters down they leave us confused by some of the decisions they make and some of the appointments they make ie Roeder

We'll be fine lincoln - eventually!
One thing I'm sure of, we will be competing for the Prem., play-offs at least, in next couple of years because Mr Chansiri will invest enough to make sure we are.
Whether we get over the final promotion hurdle though will require more than his money.
As you mention, he'll have to be making much better decisions than he has so far , and I'm sure he will as he gets more knowledge and experience ( and proper advisers? ) I think Mr Roeder will get found out very quickly?
We will need Lady Luck on our side as well along the way, no success without her.

You might have got something there TYM!
He's only got a few billion quid fortune, and it would cost a lot more than that to turn "them" in to anything even half decent!
So he's come here try to slow down our progress instead?
