i've heard that SG has signed pre-agreed contracts with a number of players, some buys some frees some loans. Mammadov had agreed to them all however can't Mammadov can't fund them until he has clearance from the FA. Hence why on BBC radio sheff he claimed they would sign at least 7 players - the fact is they already have signed a few of them! This is only what I have gathered together off of twitter from sources such as rob staton ect.

What about Mandaric saying that business would be done before ratification? Surely he'd know.

This is probably true. Hutchinson is all agreed and an unnamed centre half. The darren bent rumour is actually true and has been to hillsboro once for talk but there's still along way to go with this deal

TBH I'd take Darren bent all day long, yes he can be lazy but has the potential to score for fun at this level so I'd take a punt on securing a season long loan for him.

You can glean all you have said above from Stuart Gray interview. He said deals were in place. Think also loans will be season loans with fee agreed for player at end of loan. The fact he has mentioned Hutchinson, after refusing to discuss names of targets does indicate this deal is sorted one way or another.
What gave e greatest encouragement was him saying that Ameobi was a loan target last season but no longe interested which indicates we have raised the standard of playes we are seeking.
Thought really encouraging interview.

In the words of SG "I want to lower the age of the first team and sign a 20+ goals per season striker. I want players that can play saturday, Tuesday and Saturday". Who does he have in mind to fill that criteria? 33 years old injury prone Andy Johnson who managed two goals last season. The mans lost the plot.
