MM has said many times he will only sell our club to someone who will do what is right for Sheffield Wednesday. That I believe is not only his way but in my opinion its the right way, we don't need or want people running our club who feel nothing at all for Sheff Wed and are not prepared to invest money into the team to take us back where we belong. Bad times at S6? We could be about to be taken over by someone who will push us on. The Gunning thing may be a back up signing incase the takeover fails. You have to have a plan b but to say bad times is mega negative.

You can't please some people. If there was no news about a takeover, people would be saying what happening about a takeover. Now we have some news they think it will happen overnight. These things never do, you just have to wait for it to be made official.

So no different to any other takeover then. With the exception of Barcelona who are owned by the fans. What other takeovers have been done by die hard fans with a passion for the club. Wake up and smell the coffee. Owners are in it for the spoils of the premier league and treat clubs as there play toy. Are you telling me there were die hard Man City fans in the UAE? Don't think so. However our club is acquired if they can push us on it can only be a good thing so long as MM trusts there intentions with us.

Roman Obramovic was never a Chelsea fan but look at what he's delivered. Do you really think the owners of Man City were city fans before they delivered the premier league titles? I don't care if a future owners never even heard of us just as long as he delivers the goods on the pitch. No owners have the club at heart when they first take over until they see where the promised land is and throw money at it. Don't refer back to the Dave Richards era because that was just a pathetic attempt at making us one of the big boys. Real money from a real investor is what makes you one of the big boys!
