Mandaric has just said on radio Sheffield that a deal will be completed with Mellor by the end of the week.

Julian bennett deal is done - he's signed for 2 years for free. Dyer done expected to be done tomorrow also.

From a very reliable source, i do not come here to post rubbish, this is what i've heard from people connected with the club.

Expect 2 or 3 signings this week. Julian Bennett from Notts Forest is almost a done deal.

Michael Morrison is on his way out, he wants to go, and i presume Megson doesn't want players who don't want to play for the club. Mark Reynolds was on trial at Sturm Graz in Austria but apparently decided not to join them, it looks likely he is going to rejoin Motherwell on a loan deal, the two clubs are just trying to sort out wages. Rumour also flying about that Daniel Jones is being looked at by Brentford possibly another loan move, but i don't think that one will happen.

The backroom staff have apparently been workimg tirelessly the last few weeks trying to work out deals for Mellor and Koumas. This is probably why deals haven't been going through. However, these deals are a real uphill battle, but i've been told that don't put it past Mandaric and Aldridge to pull something of here. Also, Lloyd Dyer really is not going to happen, the interest is there but Leicester are keen to keep hold of him.

Unlike some of the other tripe posted on here, mostly by idiots who find fun in trying to wind up Wednesday fans, this chap actually got the first bit right and rumours of who is leaving have more than an elemet of truth. Hope he is right about a couple more signings. I fully expect a surprise signing or two. mandaric likes to provide a surprise and now doubt he will do this in next week or so.
