My Bullen comments were about his work with the U21s not the Watford game. They seem to have been able to express themselves more while Steve Haslams been on touchline, seen more flashes of individuals ability not been allowed to come out when LB calling the shots?
Agree about Watford game, not a big difference between the teams other than determination, on the day they wanted it more than we did?
Scoreline flattered them a bit?

Believable6 Unbelievable1

The watford game show we need a DoF. Deahan was woeful in interview and explanations sounded woeful. Think he is paper work guy. Bullen is enthusiastic but his comments after games show a lack of tact and dplomacy. Fully agree with above comment a manager can not be judged on his ability to charge around like lunatic on touchline.
Terry Burton to leave Arsenal at end of season would make ideal DoF, enjoys working with young players and still has home in Sheffield.

Agree7 Disagree2

Where have you heard Terry Burton leaving arsenal at the end of season?

if so definitely bring him back to s6! uto xxx

Agree6 Disagree1

In press couple of weeks ago, said he was upset did not get job to replace Liam Brady has head of Arsenal Academy.

Agree5 Disagree2

Well cross our fingers and hope he returns to the massive, that will be a major boost in my opinion if he comes back! uto xxx

Agree5 Disagree0

Alfred Mugabo Arsenal youngster who was their top youngster last year played for u/21 team last night.
Shows we are getting good link with Arsenal could be evidence TB heading back our way.

Agree3 Disagree0

Tend to agree with TB post - can't see how we would get first pull on this Arsenal kid if its not down to TBs influence.

Agree3 Disagree0

For those doubting Terry Burton leaving Arsenal. Just put his name in a search engine and story will be found. Although United fans probably do not want it to be true.

Agree2 Disagree1

Lee bullen will be a good manager but he is not ready right now

Agree1 Disagree3

Seen nothing from Bullen other than enthusiasm to suggest he has a future in management.
U21s performances and Watford game don't help his CV.
He only got job assisting SG because he was there, SG quick to bring Dixie in so don't think SG rates him highly either.

Madine just scored

Agree1 Disagree1

Brilliant.
Is there a glimmer of hope for a Madine & Lavery strike partnership next season.

Agree1 Disagree6

Got to be better than Best.

Agree3 Disagree6

Move on Madine is in trouble again and struggles at Championship level.

Agree2 Disagree5

That was an old story dragged up again last week. You should move on from knocking him, we don't know if he is good enough to play in the championship he was never given a consistent run in the team and when he did play and scored Jones dropped him for the next game. Likewise with Maguire, Jones signed him but didn't play him for a season and a half. Give Gray a chance to coach Madine, show confidence in him and give him some games then you will have enough evidence to make your tired old comments.

So there was a loa of Chinese people in the directors box on Saturday and it says in the Sheffield telegraph that Sammy yu is back interested in buying us again. but mm says nothing is near done.

Believable8 Unbelievable0

The fact that MM is even talking about it means he is close to a deal.
With our Champs survival all but sorted, and knowing so many Chinese visitors on the same day would obviously alert press etc, I think that a deal is closer than MM is ready to admit just yet.
He will only come clean when the contracts are drawn and ready for signing.

Agree8 Disagree1

MM just doesn't want us disappointed so he is merely keeping us grounded which is the right thing to do, we are not in severe trouble both on the pitch and financially and after 15 years of hell he doesn't want to raise false hope, he seems to be saying that they are interested again but a deal isn't agreed at the moment, him saying a deal is near would be the wrong thing to do thus raising hope to us fans only for it to collapse. I hope these Chinese folk are genuine and not ones who are in it all for themselves or to overspend and leav us in debt. and I hope these are football folk (I know Yu is but what about the rest?) who will make stupid crazy decisions like change our name & colours!

Agree9 Disagree0

Lets hope not. I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him. I think MM will hold out for a better deal. Not convinced they are what we need.

Agree1 Disagree0

I am not sure of any type of foreign involvement with a club, but that is just me. The Yanks and the Russians seem to be reasonably suitable but from what I can see Middle East and Far Eastern people do not have the same thoughts on our national game and seem to want to chop and change things at a whim.
All I want is solidarity in the Board Room, Management suite and dressing room.
Could we please have a close season where very early on the contracts are signed and the transfers in and out are done and confirmed.

I would also like to see all the rumours and whispers in relation to the ownership of the club over and done with whichever way it is going to be and we see the entire season through with the same person/s in charge.
I personally would like a solid squad of players, management and directors followed by the best fans in the and we may get off to a great start a consistent middle of season and a fabulous run in with promotion.
Mainly we need stability all round from everyone involved.

Agree5 Disagree0

In recolection if yu was the real deal and decent and going to benefit the massive he would of already taken charge by now in my opinion, by all means if he does in future woopee but for now let's stay focus'd prepare for the best but expect the worst then nobody is dissapointed, agree? uto xxx

Agree5 Disagree0

No prospective buyer will be interested after that pile of garbage on Saturday!

Agree1 Disagree6

It was a poor performance by our reason standards but the seventh post in this string is just silly (I could think of a lot stronger description but I will stick with silly) anybody who made a business decision on one poor performance would not have the money to buy the massive. Successful business people would look beyond that and see the potentional of this great club. Just look at our supporters they are worth more than money.

Agree2 Disagree1

I've said it before and I'll say it again. No takeover! Simple as that! I've been telling you all this for the last 12 months, throughout every rumour and even every time the S*n or even the Blah has printed this drivvle. I'll say it one last time. No takeover, no buyout, no new owners.

Agree2 Disagree10

You want it not to happen but sorry pal it is & we are the biggest club in yorkshire & will be even bigger after the takeover were all wednesday are't we in milan we trust

Agree3 Disagree3

Trust Milan to do what exactly? Had he got rid of Jones when all us real Wednesday fans came on here to express our concerns about Jones 9 months ago we could quite possibly have been in a play off place by the end of the season. Instead of eating humble pie and admitting that he got it wrong by sacking Megson to replace him with the inept Jones he stuck with him in the hope that suddenly Jones would become a good manager. And before you say he rescued us from total oblivion or stopped us going bust I don't believe that for a minute. Loads of clubs are in a far worse financial state than we've ever been in and are still here. Some even in our league I. e Leeds and QPR just to name a few. I agree he's steadied the ship and for that I'm sincerely thankful but we've failed to move on and improve on getting promoted through the side that Megson put together. Milan has come to a dead end, he's not capable of taking us forward so the sooner we are taken over if indeed it's true that Milan actually wants to sell us on the better. After all, if we're not moving forward under his guidance then surely the next step is to start going backwards and we deserve better than that.

Agree4 Disagree7

Are you for real? To say we have not moved forward since MM took control is so blinkered as to be untrue. Promoted from League 1, become a mid table Champ team, invested in academy & most importantly no longer on the brink of administration. You state you don't believe he stopped us going bust, so what exactly was our financial state then when he took over? Maybe the Inland Revenue didn't take us to court after all and we all imagined that bit. Good grief, what do you really expect, another Middle East group with billions to waste just so we can get to the Premier league. Its football fans with your opinions that contribute to the uncertainty surrounding football clubs, chasing success too quickly and gambling millions on a quick fix. i'm more than happy for MM to stay at our club, other investors will just be wanting to make a profit, so even if the plough loads in they will want more out in return. MM has been a staedying influence & I for one am happy with that.

Agree12 Disagree4

What rubbish. To say Milan has steadied the ship is laughable. We're in his words losing 5 million a year. If that's how he runs a business what chance have we got under his guidance? In day to day life he'd be shown the door if he was responsible for a companies finances. Then, just to show how well he chairs a company he let's his manager build a team that gets us promoted and what does he do? He sacks that very manager. He then goes even further and employs a manager who is sacked from every other club that's employed him and sticks with that manager after seeing him buy players that didn't improve the team in the slightest. Not only did he back that managers judgement in the transfer market he also stood by and watched on as he played the new signings out of position or simply didn't play them at all. While this was happening our clubs fans were simply being ignored by the chairman when we voiced our opinions that he'd got it wrong by keeping the manager employed and we wanted a manager who could turn things around tactically and play the players in there favored position and get the players back together as a unit and get the fans back on side. A manager that would improve the displays on the pitch and improve the results. Finally after months of standing by his chosen manager even he saw the light and knew that he had to admit that he'd got it wrong and had to axe his chosen one. Thankfully we've now got a manager that's giving his all for this club even though Milan messed him about for 2 months not letting him know where he stood with regards to the job becoming his. Thankfully the new manager didn't walk away or get poached before Milan acted. Oh yes, just one more thing, where are all the players that Milan told us we were in the market for? Saying publicly how we are going to sign players in almost every position on the field only for them hardly ever to happen. Was it just to butter us up and keep us sweet? The sooner he's gone the better. We need to kick on and move forward not stagnate and slip back to where we came from which is where we'll end up if he continues to be involved.

Agree5 Disagree9

I have read stupid rants on here before but that takes the biscuit. Just answer one question if Milan goes, who is going to invest in our club, I have not seen many investors been beating on our doors down to take us over.

Get real, Leeds are losing £12m a year and used the tax money to pay last months wages. QPR are, depending on who you believe between £70 and £110m in debt. QPR are only in business because they have a backer with money than sense. There are very few clubs in this league or any other English league that are making money.

Milan has built very successful business and is a multi millionaire tell us all how good a businessman you are and how many millions you have made and then we might take your silly remarks seriously.

Agree8 Disagree3

To all you fans that know better than MM, re ought to have got rid of DJ sooner etc. How many wanted Ian Holloway and not Stuart Grey?

Yes folks we could now have been in Millwall's predicament. Well done MM for making that appointment in spite of opposition from some fans.

Agree4 Disagree2

More money than sense? Tell that to Roman Abramovic who's also got more money than sense but under his ownership have won every domestic cup going on numerous occasions as well as the champions league. Don't get me wrong, I thought that was the sole intention of owning a football club, to achieve and win things. Or is that just other clubs? Maybe in Milans case it's just a status thing. Maybe that's why in your words no investors have taken over! Think about it!

Agree2 Disagree8

Well said pal he mad megson would't have got us up it was a good move by milan to get jones in at that time

Agree7 Disagree5

I, for one, just want The Owls to be a success both on and off the field. M. M. has without doubt saved us from a financial mess which may or may not have taken us years to clear up. Portsmouth, Leeds United in England, Hearts in Scotland are teams who jumped towards the moon only to fall flat back to earth and are now suffering. We the fans would love to be in the Premiership and challenging for trophies here and abroad but unless we have the patience of the likes of Southampton we will never be there by throwing good money after bad. We have to have a solid financial base, which hopefully M. M. is trying to achieve before we advance and survive. All we need, as I have said before, is solidarity, honesty, openness and trust within the club and supporters. let's us hope the close season comes and during it we sort all our troubles out early on and are up and running with the right management, directorships and playing staff and fans all pulling in the same, right direction towards a bright future.

Agree8 Disagree3

Milan should have climbed in to the same car as Dave Jones and both left together. Two blokes who have done severe damage to this once great club. Gary Megson and Stuart Grey are the only people who can hold there heads high. Cheers fellas.

I can't believe what I am reading, talk about short memories. Milan as done wonders for this club. We would probably gone into administration and in league 2 without his intervention. Yeah he made some mistakes but he also got a lot right, we now a mid table secure championship club within 3 years. Potential to go top 6 next year, if we continued the progress under gray and gained promotion to premier next season would you still be moaning about Milan?

Agree13 Disagree3

Yes I would!

Agree2 Disagree6

Some of the negatve comments are not from true Wednesday fans.
They are a tiny minority who were upset they could not have a fans run Wenesday in which they hoped to be a big cheese. In reality they live in a Walter Mitty world and fail to accept fundamental truths.
Good example is preoccupation with Megson. Firstly I was one of those who wanted him as coach. However althugh he has talent as a coach Ihave since learned his demeanour and personality do not make him a suitable manager. To those that doubt this ask yourself why he is unemployed an does not get offer of work. His contract with Owls would have expired at end of last season so no rubbish about still being paid by us.

Agree6 Disagree2

To Walter Mitty poster.
It is possible to have an alternative view to yours without being part of a KGB conspiracy to wrestle the club from MM and reappoint Megson.
Not an expert but my understanding was that the fans interest 4-5yrs ago was to get the club out of the then owners hands, for that reason only, there was no long term ambition.
Nobody is perfect including MM, GM, DJ, and yes even SG although he's pretty close at the moment.
To end Megson will get another job, I guess when the right one comes along.
Like anybody else he will wait for a job that appeals, I'm guessing he won't be on breadline yet.

Agree4 Disagree2

To the poster who wanted MM to leave in the same car as DJ. What kind of total person are you. MM has made no secret of his desire to leave but has to find a suitable buyer first or do you just want him to walk off and lock the gates on Leepings Lane & Pensitone Road on his way out!

Agree5 Disagree3

An owner of a club that doesn't want it? Proves my point exactly! It's all a status thing!

Agree4 Disagree0

Wouldn't say status thing its obviously his hobby fixing things that are broken. Fair play to the man we would be in blunts position without him.

Agree7 Disagree2

He doesn't want the club? And that's the owner speaking is it? Well if his hearts not even in it then how can he expect us to feel confident? We're done for!

Agree4 Disagree4

As far as I can see and read, MM has never said he doesn't want the club, in fact just the opposite, what he has said is that if anybody can take over the club and take it further that he can then he will gladly stand aside but until that day he will continue to run the club in the best interest of the fans.

The question I keep asking myself is why don't the silly posters who are lambasting MM on here put their money up to buy the club. I am sure that with the the brains they display on here they must be millionaires. But having read their posts again perhaps not.

Agree8 Disagree3

You wouldn't need to be a millionaire to compete with Milan in the transfer market. If it's not free or given to him he doesn't sign it. Why do you think his signings have been so poor during his guidance?

Agree2 Disagree4

Am I allowed to bring a balloon to the games?

Agree2 Disagree2

Only if its a guide balloon.
