There is no point taking it out on Dave Jones due to a decision made by the chairman. What would any of us done if we were in jones shoes. The chance to take over a massive club , with support to match playing at one of the best stadiums in the country. I was a megson fan but we have no option but to look foward and get on with it. Jones deserves are full support as negativity will only damage our club.let's judge Jones by the only record that matters which is the one at wednesday. I was having sleepless nights with some of the candidates mentioned such as ince and at least we did not go down the same route as our s2 neighbours and go for the likes of blackwell. The fun at the lane will start when the honeymoon period finishes and reality sets in which started with us defeating our quiet neighbours last week. Onwards and upwards !

I must admit i feel the same way. i would have prefered megson to stay and was shocked at his sacking.
however, like you say we should move on now and give the guy a chance. if we get promoted we will all be praising mm and dj. uto

Obviously Wednesday arnt bolton, i understand that megsons not the best manager in the world but the statement he gave after the match saying he had signed so many frees and so many loans to get us in top 3 aint too shabby with NO backing! I hardly see how dj is an improvement with no backing? Unless mm plans to back dj, in that case why not back megson and save the disruption?! {Ed001's Note - Jones is a better coach, so you would expect him to get more out of the players.}

Before gm came in last season we were heading for a relagation battle and i feel that he helped turn it around.
this season we are pushing for promotion mainly with gm at the helm, and although recent form has dropped significantly, gm wasnt there yesterday and we couldnt beat a 3rd from bottom team.
as far as im concerned there is proof that gm is not a bad manager, but we just have to hope that dj can build on gm's good work.

If you think a new manager who ever it is is going to get any more out of our players than megson did you are mad he can't sign any 1 emergency loan signings only and if he could he would not get the funds that's been proven hope who ever it is likes shopping in the loan Market total bad timing we just win the biggest game of the season so what must the players be thinking they can't top what they did sunday nothing like kicking them in the teeth and the fans
