Takeover should be rubber stamped by the FA this week, hopefully nearer the start of it. There was a slight question mark after the SNAFU with Lens, the FA wanted to confirm that it was just an admin error, which is all it was at the end of the day. If it hadn't been for the extra checks with that apparently the takeover would have been signed off last week.

Thanks for the update, but it is not the FA but the FL who finalised the takeover.

What is the SNAFU?? The problem was with the DNCG which is the financial regulation body of French football.

How is the situation normal if its all f***ed? makes no sense

I think possibly that it means things are normally f;:£ed up. I can see how that might be difficult for you to grasp

Makes perfect sense: 90% of time sat around bored and doing pointless drills then 10% absolutely insane action and no time to think.
'Run over there, get shot to prices, avoid the mines, dodge the tank, kill everyone, plant a flag for a cause you haven't been told. '
Pretty much snafu. Similar to fubar

The "swear" words are really part of the the old English that has been around for many years (before the Norman invasion). It was just that they used "high level" English to ensure the "plebs" didn't understand much of what was going on around them (Look how long it took to obtain an English Bible that was understood by the common man)
