Junior Hoilett is expected to sign in the coming days for an undisclosed fee, as he has fallen out of favor at QPR

Be a great signing

In our dreams

Lots of people post what appear to be very audacious rumours (I'm not suggesting they aren't true) on this site. For me personally if you could include a source or any extra information then that might help you in validating statements and would benefit other posters. Personally I think we will have to be patient and aren't likely to see any first team signings until late next week at the earliest

Agree8 Disagree0

Agree with fourth poster, moe infowould help. Can not seing thisbeingtrue as another winger and only position we are not trying to fill.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hoilett wages are 55k a week so no chance

Agree6 Disagree1

They may be 55k a week at the moment, that doesn't mean they will be next season, and who knows maybe 2 weeks we might just be picking out of that pot! We might not either, but it's exciting waiting to find out, it like Christmas waiting to find out if you have an orange or an I phone in your stocking, who knows next season it could be Wickham and Vardy up front being fed by Hoilett, It could be Del Boy and Uncle Albert up front being fed long throws by Boicey, still exciting times, best since 1993

I hope we don't do a portsmouth and go buying players we can't sustain if new owner decides to leave

All we need is a solid cb, both ameobis and another striker aswell as Sam hutch then sign contracts up ie kirk, guch etc

Agree1 Disagree5

Both ameobis? I would only want Sammy. Shola is well past it!

Agree2 Disagree0

Sholas better then sammy I think in this league who knows they may both provail. ? owls about that. ? ;)

Agree0 Disagree1

Shola all day who posted he's past obviously isn't watching the world cup and why is hoillet in our dreams and how do you know we can't match them wages

Just heard from multiple sources that The Owls have made an offer for Connor Wickham for an undisclosed fee as he is expected to team up with Andy Johnson up front. Jack Grealish is also set to join on a season long loan with an option to buy at the end of the season. £3M offered to United for Harry Maguire, as Grey thinks the team lacks a leader in the center of the defense. Very reliable sources.

Lets let patience be our virtue on this so called rumoured, let's hope for the best and expect the worst, uto xxx

We have enquired about Wickham, but no more at this time, there has been no offer for Harry Maguire, at all, and it is very unlikely there ever will be an offer from Wednesday for him. Xx

Messi to sign along with Ronaldo for a combined fee of 200 million my sourse hp brown sourse. come on let's get some real rumours on

Agree11 Disagree2

£5 million wouldn't be enough for Connor wickham let alone his wages, it would be great to see him in a Wednesday shirt again but if it's going to happen it will be in a couple of years at best. Wawaw

Agree7 Disagree5

Sorry Sam m8 but I don't trust your sources. Altho I agree that we may have tested the water with Wickham. No harmin tryin but think Sunderland Av plans for him. mik

Agree7 Disagree1

Wonder who these multiple sources are, all your mates down the pub! I'd love it to be true but even if we put in an offer, realistically I can't see that he'd want to drop out of the PL after his finish to last season, and even if Sunderland don't want him there will be many teams in the PL that would give him a chance now.

Agree4 Disagree0

Same person keeps posting wild rumour on here each day. let's be realistic
1. Wickham will only arrive at S6 if he has bad start to season and is out of team. This is possible as record was poor until playing well in last 6 games of season. Poyet did not fancy him as a player.
2. Andy Johnson wrong profile 33 yro injury prone, if you listen to Gray just what he does not want. His asset when younger was his pace, now he would be quicker sitting in a bath chair with OP pushing him than he actually is.
3. Grealish is a winger if he came would be on a season long loan. The one area we are not short of players is in wide attacking areas. For example, Antonio, Halen, Maghoma, Maguire, Lavery, Stobbs.
Try and apply a bit of logic to your wish list please.

Agree7 Disagree1

Maguire is an excellent L1 and L2 centre half. Unfortunately different style of player required in Championship and above. Hence why nomove for him from Premier clubs.

Agree7 Disagree1

Hull have tabled a bid for maguire, which was rejected, can't see us getting maguire, interest from Leicester aswell apparently

Agree2 Disagree0

Why would Leicester or hull want him - different style of play again?

Come on folks, football is football!
