DJ been on phone to Paul Walker BBC-RS - MM flown to Portugal yesterday to speak to Reading chairman with regards to Antonio transfer - also looking to add another 4 or 5 players CBack, CMidfield, Wing and Striker (presume midfielders are Norris, Antonio) also had enquiries for 2 out - was also to take player on trial from Barcelona but went to Werder Bremen on transfer - Kirkland situation said to be personal and he is in constant communication with DJ - still sounds good and ambitious to me :o) WTID

Need some wide men!! JJ is awful, im thinking 4-3-3 atm but we need some wingers so we can change it up if need be.. if we are getting antonio defo need a left winger and a winger who can play either flank!

Pecnik and amado arent out and out wingers and lets face it i we trust DJ and MM but when we signed both of them everyone was googling who they were, i would like to see another player with championship maybe prem experience some one like chris eagles etc played at prem level but for a s*** team haha, obvs will wont sign him but a player a long them lines.

Not a rumour but with less than a month to go is anyone else getting concerned we are at least still 5/6 players short. By my reckoning we need another striker, 2 widemen and central midfielder and a centre half. Also if Kirkland goes another keeper? Strangely things seem to have dried up for us with a few weeks to go! Pull ya finger out I say!

Agree we are still 5/6 players short but no need for concern... have faith in MM DJ things will happen right up tp 1st sep and beyond, even if we have players coming in at the 11th hour... trust in DJ to get them gelling as a team and be no walkover in the championship

DJ just said on Radio Sheffield that we're looking to bring in another 5 players. A CB, CM, striker and some wingers.

Keep rob jones. he was important for us last season. good leader with passion. maybe daniel jones as cover for left wing as we dont have anyone there with natural left foot.

Do you really think that Rob Jones has the pace and class to deal with Championship strikers- especially when the ball is on the ground ?

Rob Jones is not a good footballer, he is good in the air and is strong but as for ball control there are far better center halves out there well within MM's spending limit. I think Semedo will make a better leader anyway, he's in the middle of the park, he knows how to play the ball about and he's calm in all situations. On more than one occasion this season we've seen RJ lose his head and it's not what you want from your captain.
