The big news is that MM has decided to stay on for another year and build a premier chasing club under Stuart Gray. Funds will be made available for several players who have been under observation since Gray took over and who would be willing to serve under him. Wasn't this in an article the other day?

Takeover will happen why would mm risk telling anyone when there's that much money involved so u blunt fans stop writing on s. w. f. c page what up with u oh ye your in league 1 that says it all

I am a true owl and have been for over 20 years, surely it would make more sense for milan to keep us and spend a little money and get us promoted we would be worth double imo. Milan I will always be grateful for what you did for us.

Agree9 Disagree2

True. No takeover as I've told you all along.

You may be a true Owl but the point about little money is absurd. MM says already in for close on £30 million which to my mind is not a small amount. To try and compete with clubs coming down who have enormous parachute payments is the way to end up in the mire. The plan to try and grow your own I believe is the best policy and significant strides forward have been made in this area. Accept it can take 10 years but this has been required for some time. Genuinely feel we will see some real benefits in next 18 months.
Key to player recruitment is getting right man in DoF role. Think we have done better of late with players brought in but certainly room for improvement.

It is inevitable MM will hand over reins in not too distant future he his well in his 70's and father time catches up with us all. Hence can only be short to medium term owner at best.

As for the weed who has plagued this site stop writing tripe and spend more time sucking his own big toe like the rest of your bretheren.

Now we are safe, will be interesting to see is some statements made on here re takeover were true.

Regardless excellent win against current form team in Championship. Onyewu would be a good signing for next year. Hope we can hang on to Louvens and Kirkland as well.
Like Hutchinson but with injury woes and lack of common sense when playing with booking not sure he would be that worthwhile.
Think Lllera, JJ, and Taylor on way out.

Have to agree. Llera's lack of pace cannot go on another season, jj is a luxury that doesn't produce anywhere near as often and taylor I haven't seen that much off tbh, but there will be a reason why.

With Kirkland, guchi, loovens and lee we have quite a spine, need someone quality up top and that's great news for next season.

Players wed need to get rid of for next season reda lliera jj coke prutton taylor all loanees

Agree2 Disagree8

Gardener surely won't be given another contract good player too injury prone and soon to b 35 must b one of higher earners too

Agree4 Disagree1

With reference to the transfers in and out, I agree Llera should go but he deserves to go with our thanks, he may have slowed down and got a bit careless, but over the years he has always put a shift in for us and has scored some valuable and great goals, which for a centre half is great. J. J. is a luxury we cannot really afford so to let him go is common sense, if we bring in another younger player in. Taylor and Gardiner are injury prone and in my opinion both slow and brain dead in the thinking department. Reda on the other hand is worth carrying on with, he is one who gives everything whilst on the park and is Wednesday through and through. Prutton and Coke may be kept for another year just to cover in case of injuries. McCabe and Madine brought back to fight for and earn their places. I would like to see Martinez kept on loan for another year as cover for Kirkland. We are okay for full backs, centre halves should be covered by at least one more purchase. Mid field should cope without much tearing apart, up front is starting to look useful, but Best and Abofe will or should be leaving, so we will require Madine back and at least 2 more goal scorers, obviously Wickham is gone as far as we are concerned, and I think Fryatt will be kept at Hull so we need a proven goalscorer from the lower Premiership or upper championship. The main thing is to get ALL DEALS DONE A. S. A. P. , so they are there all pre season and are up for it at the start of the season. I do trust M. M. and S. G. to do this.

Gardner brain dead?! You seen him play then? Quality centre half who sadly misses too many games through injury. Reads game fantastically and organises others round him, hardly brain dead!
