It's ridiculous to attempt to given certain signings, but I can pass on rumours I've heard banded about for fairly reliable sources. They predicted Heffernan, Morrison and Reynolds (in January) last season so I have confidence in what they tell me.

They say that Megson is looking at Adam le Fondre but it's still in the balance as he doesn't exactly fit the mould of his tactics. He's also been looking at Derek Riordan who is a free agent at the end of the season after failing to agree terms with Hibernian, who has a fantastic record and would be a great signing.

Jimmy Ryan from Accrington also looks a good bet. He's been great this season for Stanley and Wednesday are heading the hunt, just in front of Huddersfield and Leeds for his services.
