It's a shame about not signing onyewu, he was a good player in his day but prob past it now, hopefully takeover will go threw and we can sign some quality, I'm glad wednesday had a look on this site and took my advise on signing Westwood :)
I wonder who else we could sign?

This has been denied. Mammadov is very common name in Azejaiban. French journalist put 2+2 together and made 12.
Be wary of repots from France they are upset Mammadov decided to buy Wednesday and Mammadov has openly moaned about French League and President of club. They know Wednesday will take priority over them.

It's just typical. Since the exciting news of his takeover we've heard nothing from him and everything we've heard of him is negative. I know this sounds negative but I'm starting to think we might be better off without him. Let's face it he's only been at rc lens for one season and cocked their promotion up and they don't know where they're going to play with the stadium upgrade and now he's cocked up again before takeovers been ratified. I'm more than having my doubts! Hope it all comes out in the wash. UTO

Sorry. Should have checked more thoroughly. The arrest of Mammadov, the opposition figure and newspaperman, dates back rather. Know nothing of Hafiz or his alleged arrest, but the Azerbaijan government does seem to have a habit of arresting Mammadovs. Hope the press conference is simply to suppress rumours.
