Have to agree, we are playing some good football and we have some players whose form is being noted nationally. This is always a good sign.

It is very refreshing to notice of less emphasis on Wickham by the fans and more support to our current players who are doing so well under SG who proves himself to be a good coach. SG has managed to develop our current, mostly young, players whom I thought most weren't decent when they were under DJ who signed them, but hardly played them. Now I must say and admit these players have potential and thanks to SG who has brought the best out of them, and proved me and others like me wrong. Very happy with the current situation and I invite my fellow owls fans to join me and express our gratitude to SG for his excellent leading and coaching roles. THANK YOU STUART GRAY :-)) (NDS)

NDS - credit to you for acknowledginhg your eror.
I have to say I was one of more positive posters but Gray has improved players far more than I could have hoped.
By the way perhaps you should change to Signings Actually Decent (SAD)

Of course I would acknowledge the truth which we are witnessing at the moment seeing a good performance by the team. Looking back; when a manager signed a large number of players and never used most of them, the only thing comes to your mind they can not be that decent to play them, common sense! Now seeing them more organised and playing well then they deserve credit and above all credit to SG who has got the best of them. no matter what we are the fans happy now and I am going tomorrow to watch them against Wigan hoping for another good work on the pitch. Firstly I thought we'd struggle today with our injuries but full credit to the team. SG deserves a pat on the back he has instilled confidence and passion to the team. It's obvious that DJ had lost the dressing room but SG has sorted this out. We look good and hard to beat now. Full credit to Maguire and Lee it's like having two new signings. I'm a happy owl and am looking forward to the future.

Partly agree with above. Only disagreement is I think DJ did not lose dressing room. Just think it was poor tactics and training (no training on set pieces) and his inability to acccept different point of view. The players are a good bunch and always put effort in. Loss of dressing room suggests both parties at odds. wherehas think Jones and Wilkinson wee at odds with themselves and were in own world.
Clear good periods of form previously were down to Terry Burton when we wee pomted and Gray when he came in last year.
Hope you see whee I am coming from.

Totally agree. Forced to lose one soon I guess but with the new spirit and confidence and willingness to work for each other should steer clear of worries now I hope.
Stuart Gray has performed miracles to turn things round like he has with the squad we already had pretty much?
Should be a lesson for all our fans who keep screaming for names for managers and names for players - it's performances and results that matter - and not names!
That's how you become a name!

Agree0 Disagree0

Are we still bleeting on about dave jones??!

Agree0 Disagree0

I would call above sensible discussion not bleeting on about anything.
Totally inappropriate comment.

Thanks for the support and you are right irt was nothing to do with Dave Jones.
For those who obviously need it spelling out, I was indicating that when some of our fans were saying we should get "this name" or "that name" for manager, and Stuart Gray is the "cheap" option, it is performances and results that count not "names".
Also the same with players, every "name" player that's ever been starts out in their career as a "no-name" so let's give our players a chance to develop and become "names" before we slate them because we've never heard their "name" before!
Hope that's cleared that up - who is DJ anyway?

Agree0 Disagree0

He's the bloke plays loud music at discos
