Milan needs to sell sheffield wednesday ASAP so that someone can come in and do a real job of getting us into the premier league, Milan has simply given up so the sooner he goes the better IMO, and yes I am well aware he saved the club but its time he left.

DJ has gone for a team who do not play football but rely on powerful defenders to power to ball forward for our very quick - some times clumsy forwards to chase. Some matches this will work and we will win 4 -o other times against skillfull sides we will be outplayed. Could we please get a manager!

Agree0 Disagree0

If you think we're going to get a mad billionaire who's going to throw money at the club like its a play thing, and not a business man who'll be happy with Championship gate revenue, then you're mistaken. Have faith in MM, he's doing good by us.

Agree0 Disagree0

To the original poster. Why do you want someone to gamble with our clubs future? Mm is building the club properly without taking risks. I know we all want to get in the prem but be honest, we couldn't compete there.

Agree0 Disagree0

True we want premier football but we would not be able to compete
the thing for me is I expected us in the bottom 8 again but we are THE team already playing catch up so
we can't compete in the championship really! We did ok to survive in the end last season! I know you can't throw money you have not got but if we do like we did last season we may not survive this time! what is the point?? you have to progress that is sport surely?

Seems there is as many fans of other teams playing wind up than owls fans

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Why is it that anyone who expresses doubts and reservations must be a supporter of another club? Are we becoming paranoid, seeing enemies everywhere when it is only fellow supporters with a different view?

Missed out on some really talent this transfer window some great young players been released from premier league clubs. For example Sanchez Watt, great player, came on loan a few seasons back and did well, but yet again DJ and MM don't look at those sort of players.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Sanchez Watt did great he hardly played. Failed in Championship with Leeds. If this is great player I am astonished. Oh and Terry Burton will have recommended his release. Where has he gone probably a L2 club.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sanchez Wstt was absolute crap for us an done nowt since. Was loaned to q few clubs from Arsenal not Man U an did nothin

Agree0 Disagree0

Give over Sanchez Watt? Would you have signed him over Helan because I know I wouldnt! He plays on wing so either not sign Helan or drop Antonio! he not good enough!

Agree0 Disagree0

Sanchez watt is terrible he was a striker and scored 1 goal for us exactl ythe same as our friend bothroyd

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't be that bad playing for Colchester only one division lower? And besides for a free transfer I would have snapped him up from the word go

we have brought in a handful of players, I don't get only bywater and ogrady has gone and people are saying are squad is thin, we rarely played bywater and ogrady although he was good got neglected, so what's people moaning about, I know idealy we need another striker and strong midfielder but still losing 2 players who never really played has that made a massive impact. ?

please any opinions are wanted to clear up this missunderstanding uto xxx

The trouble is, as one poster pointed out earlier, that there seems to be a greater concentration on the Development Squad than on tackling the midfield problem. You are right about the total numbers, but that masks our critical weakness in centre midfield.

Agree0 Disagree0

We have to sign Development Squad players as for the first time in years the club is planning long term! Hence the number of youngsters coming up! You won't be moaning over the years if a number of them make the step up!
Stop moaning and get behind the lads!

Agree0 Disagree0

The problem at the moment is that a lot are injured

DJ says we need to shift players out before we bring players in,

cant see us getting anyone then

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We needed better quality in the squad yet we gave contracts to the likes of Coke and Prutton. Now we can't bring anyone in until we move some out. What the hell is going on? Another shambles.

Agree0 Disagree0

Altho I'm not anti Jones I agree with you. Midfield an strikers are our weakest points. Defence is sorted, when fit. An I don't think JJ should Av bin given a contract either. I don't go along with the theory that he his liable to do summat special. Does it about 3 times a season

Stayed in the Championship by the skin of our teeth last season and now we are looking to improve by starting with a worse squad than we finished with. Come on. Those in charge at SWFC must think we are all daft. Will any new owners invest more in the team? Who knows.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I was making just that point in July!
The point I made was same as yours! Having said that we had not signed Helan, Nuhiu, Zayatte at that point! Even now I feel we are weaker
than the side who finished the last few months of the season pretty stongly!
