people keep talking about o'grady like he was the best thing since sliced bread. my opinion is he is not a championship striker. he wasn't prolific when he did play for us. ok maybe he didn't get loads of chances but he didn't show enough. he did score a few for a poor barnsley but I don't see him scoring much at brighton - I may be proved wrong but I don't think so. nuhiu I think has found his form and I can see him getting 15 goals this season. we do need more tho. stevie may worth a punt at 800k and sharp on a free would be great business!

Blunt or no blunt . He's a proven goal scorer and I would see what he could do for us much more than previous club or who he supports.
From talking to footballers I think in general they find it difficult to keep their support when they are involved in the game. Obviously there are exceptions.

Feeling really sorry for MM at the present. The guy has poured millions into SAVING us from the brink. Enough has been said already about Due Diligence - although many still have not grasped what this is all about. It is the buyers accountants that swarm all over the club accounts, balance sheet, etc. Through this process, the buyer is checking not only that the offer to buy shares is in line with the club's assets and potential future profit, but - and most importantly - that the liabilities are not overly burdensome. In short, it is the buyer who does all the checking. The seller is not provided with the buyer's financial background. Even in this country, information from Companies House does not provide anywhere near the full picture. ( I speak with some experience of buying and selling businesses ).
Hence, MM can only go on limited info and gut reaction.
I believe that MM has trusted in this so far - time will tell if his trust has been misplaced or not. Either way, he has the club at heart, and we must never lose sight of this.

I fear another hard season for us. We are in a worst state than the start of last season . The only plus point is no Dave jones . All we here from gray is he wants a 20 goal a season striker but doesn't every manger in English football want one of them . And was gray not in the building when we sold o Grady?
