" Once a wednesdayite always a wednesdayite. It will make no difference to most Wednesdayites it will not be pleasant but we will carry on supporting our team"

Ok we will all sit in our seats, clap our hands and smile. if we express an opinion on how shambolic our club is ran at the min we are negative.
The fans that have opinions through the blue and white glasses are the real fans who want what's best for OUR team.
The fans in my opinion who think they are the best fans because they cheer even when we are poor are deluded.
The real fans are not NEGATIVE the real fans no we are in a mess and want action from the board
ah men

Agreed. We have lived too long on a diet of complacency and irrational hope.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah, real men and real fans spend all day winging on a rumours sites.
I can't believe how anybody can be so ungrateful. We wouldn't even have a club if it wasn't for MM.
Yes he wants to sell us on and make a profit, but that's why he is a successfully business man and a millionaire. Are you?
Do you not see that nobody wants to buy the club? Do you think MM should just throw in the towel and walk away, leaving the club in oblivion with nobody in control?
Seriously, get a grip.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with the get a grip poster above. We know MM wants to sell the club (he never made a secret of it) but to all those thinking things will be better after he's gone. I ask you, why? Any new owner will also be a business man or dreaded consortium simply looking to make a return on their investment. Yes things are frustrating right now and there is a chance we could be relegated but if that happens, it happens. We've been ther before & we'll go there again in the future. We will still support the Owls and be happy when we win and sad when we lose irrespective of which division we play in. Personally i'm not sure I want to get to the Prem. We wouldn't compete and would spend every season trying to avoid relegation (I know a bit like now), ticket prices would go through the roof, away games would be unafordable. Keep the faith fellow Owls.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well thank you N. B
nice to speak to a real fan.

Agree0 Disagree0

According to NB
He/She does not fancy getting promoted it would cost to much and we will lose every week
Keep the faith he/she also comments.
??????

In response to??
I'm just trying to be realistic mate. Obviously I'll be made up if we were to ever get promoted to the PL again but the reality of the situation is as I described earlier.
Simply trying to give a balanced view and point out that reaching the PL is not the be all and end all. You can't tell me that you didn't enjoy our promotion season from L1 after pipping the pigs to automatic promotion. How would that rate against a season of finishing 4th bottom of PL. Finally, I'm sure I'm not the only fan of our great club that is impacted by the cost of attendance.

just listened to Kirkland on radio saying Gray should get job, and he called him Stewy not good news, is this why the players want him he's just one of the boys and that is the trouble, as I have said before Gray is not the man for the task ahead

Does anyone know if this meeting between Milan and Gray went ahead today,

Agree0 Disagree0

No, MM is away on business but they spoke on the phone, what about we obviously don't know.

Agree0 Disagree0

The fans turned on GM and we ended up with worse.
The fans then turned on DJ, although towards the end, it was rightly so.
Now the fans are turning on Gray, even though we have had a huge improvement.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fans of which clubs

Agree0 Disagree0

Mm away on business but spoke on the phone, if they did how come you don't what about, just wondered.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its been reported - by the club - that they didn't meet but they spoke on the phone!
I obviously don't know what was said because I am not MM or Stuart Gray!
Hope that helps?

Dave Jones has emerged as a contender for West Brom job.
Great news! Hope e he gets it!
That would put some money back in MMs pocket that he might just consider spending on the team?
Bonus is. It would serve West Brom right for sacking a good manager in Steve Clarke! Hope it happens!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

If he gets job he'll do well this season, he always does, but he never keeps it goin. He only takes his teams so far

Agree0 Disagree0

Could be worse for WBA, they could be getting Megson.

Agree0 Disagree0

The WBA fans love him which is hardly surprising as he took them up to Prem -twice. Mind you their board backed him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Shame we couldn't have just swapped managers with WBA

Hope Milan puts bid in for Conner wickam 3 million should get him would get money back if had to sell. If Milan can't get him it will cost him 5 million when relegated hope Milan has learnt his lesson with Ben Marshall when we did not put bid in when player wanted to come I am sure wickam wants to stay or would have gone by now?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Wickham is going to Nottingham Forest. They play good attacking football. He will fill his boots their.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's filled his boots at S6 Mr Blunt, and if he was going anywhere else for money Sunderland wouldn't be risking him getting injured playing for the mighty Owls.
Nice try, but might have half a chance of getting a reaction if it made any sense.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not the earlier poster but do agree with him. You have to remember that fottball players are not fans like us and have no real loyalty to our club. Wickham may have said he loves it at Wednesday but what else is he going to say whilst he's still here. Why would he not want to play at Forest if Sunderland no longer want him with achance to play in PL next season against a chnage of L1 with us next season.

Agree0 Disagree0

You hope Milan buys wickham, would be nice mate but be more like another loan signing for us.
