It is difficult to see where our next points will come from, but we sure need to get it together before Xmas, as generally that period is a good indication of who will go down.
The only positive note is having dropped Taylor we only conceded 1 goal as appose to the usual 3.

Jones only plan seems to be to just carry on regardless. No doubt we will get the odd win here the odd draw there but will we get enough to stay up - seems very unlikely.

Amazing how reading messages lower down this page everyone now seems to be saying what I messaged on here 4 weeks ago but at the time nobody agreed with me. Dave Jones's signings have been really poor and he just keeps sticking with them in the hope that one day they will suddenly become good players. This won't happen. The only players that look like they care are Gary Megsons signings who by the way got us promoted. After today's loss against the mighty Hull City i now think it's time MM admitted he got it wrong by giving Dave Jones the job and gets someone else in to turn things around before it's too late. If he acts now then we could still have a good season with the correct manager in place.

Could not agree with first post more. I'm grateful to Jones for promotion but even this early in the season we look certainties to be relegated. He has signed poor players, chopped and changed the team, played players out of position and seems totally clueless. For those who keep calling for loyalty football is a results business as Jones himself said. If things had gone differently and a Premier League club had come in for him do you think he'd be loyal to us? Defeat after defeat, a defence that is leaking at a rate that is terrifying. Now we've lost to Hull a third rate club from a fourth rate city. Enough said.

DJ seems clueless, hes making 3-6 changes a game when most managers try to get a settled team ?
Most of todays team have been dropped by him over past few weeks, presumably cos he thought they werent good enough?
Then hes asking them to come and turn things around for him?
He was too quick to get rid of Megsons free signings (who won promotion!) and replace them with his own big-earning signings (who just havent done it !)
Megson built a passionate team , I bet the dressing room is quiet and divided now.
If you sack a manager for getting you in to play-off positions, what do you do if he takes you in to relegation positions? Watch your back DJ !
