Listened to DJs comments today and he really made a lot of sense.
I guess that is why he is manager and the doubters are not.

Think he has made lots of sensible comments since Christmas. Can not see what the gripes are about. Charlton went up with us and finished well clear of us. We are on their coat tails this year which suggests we have made more progress than them. Other promotees Huddersfield invested heavily and are still below us.
It was unrealistic to expect us to storm league without substantial investment. Progrees in second half of season has been good. Our form over last 20 or so matches has been top six level with only 4 defeats.
Have been pleasantly surprised with how we have improved, sincerely hope it can continue.

In last 19 league games 10 wins 5 draws and 4 defeats, if we can keep that up next season its play off form.

I dunno. I think all of the clubs below us are capable of scoring more than 56 points (apart from Bristol) I reckon we'll need another 3 wins, at least

You're forgetting the teams above us, they are being dragged ever closer to the drop zone. even leeds are now only 5 points away from danger and many of these teams have to play eachother. So let's not worry about what they do our destiny is in our hands I. ve said it before and I'ii say it again we won't go down. 3-2 brilliant result for the lads well done UTO

2wins 2 draws will be enough what the eck has happened to blackburn, something really bad gone off at that club, sad for any club to drop like they have still if it means we stay up and they go down, so be it

In last 10 years only Leicester (52 pts) and Walsall have been relegated with more than 50 pts. In fact only one other side in this period was relegated with 50 points. This is an extremely uusual year and it could need a record level of points to stay up. The form of teams at the bottom mean teams from 10th position down have reason to be cocerned. league most condensed ever.
