mm and gm fell out so he is not willing to put any money in the club

Believable0 Unbelievable6

Even if that was case he is a business man he ain't going to run is investment in to ground and make it worthless something is not right or may be it's just a case of balancing the books the last time we spent stupid we ended up in mess we have just got owt of. I would not jump ship yet though the team is much improved from last
season and Morrison and madine are no mugs 2 solid games against Leeds and Stoke it took Leeds 3 seasons to get out of this league and look at them now and their club which was in as much debt as us keep the faith

Agree4 Disagree1

Why write complete lies

Agree2 Disagree0

You talk so much s**t wednesday were s**t today we need strike force strikers never looked like scoreing

Agree1 Disagree3

Your right about the fact we need more fire power up frunt (with only madine who can score) but we had a good solid performance, unless you was wathing another game.

Agree1 Disagree0

Total s**t if they had fallen out then megson wouldve been on his way out. Certainly MM wouldnt have been refusing to put money into club as he wants promotion as much as we all do, he's a buisness man and dosnt want to loose 6 mil as a result of no promotion again Why write such bull s**t lies that have no substance? obv not a true owl.

Enough with the rubbish, Wednesday
have made two bids for Le Fondre,
believed to be £200,000 and
£250,000, unless we fork out
£500,000 we wont be getting him.
Love how united fans suddenly
think there getting him though,
from what ive heard its between us
and Coventry since Scunny dropped
their interest.

Same old wednesday lets all get ready for another let down. not got any back up for first team nobody wants to play for us so how we going to win owt

Believable1 Unbelievable4

We've had lots of "nobodies" wanting to play for us down the last few years - that's how we've finished up here Lets all be PATIENT and get "SOMEBODIES" who want to play for us and put us back where we belong

Agree1 Disagree1

Plain and simple we have not got the players we have gone for because we have not but the money up we got 200,000 thousand for spur and expected to get alf for the same I can't understand the thinking behind this if we have limited transfer funds say that don't string the fans along with pipe dreams

Arsenal's Benik Afobe coming to Sheffield Wednesday on loan for a season according to the main stream media

Believable0 Unbelievable6

He's already said that "it's not happening " AND that as far as he's concerned - "there's only one team in Yorkshire - Huddersfield "" - so I DON'T think he'll be coming to S6 NOW ?

How can the Blunts sign Nathaniel Mendez-Laing (a rapid winger) and we still not got anyone??

Plus just heard looks like Leon Clarke going to the Blunts?

Surely someone needs to speak to MM and say how come they signing when so much in debt and we not even making reasonable offers for players?

Bet GM pulling out what hair he got left

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Because are debt is to mcsue and mm will sell you soon good luck on staying up utb

Agree0 Disagree1

We got more chance of staying up the United Especially once agent Wilson starts the masterplan UP THE OWLS

Am I the only one who is now starting to worry about next season?
Think next season we will use the 4-5-1 more often than not and our squad next season will be
Goal - Nicky Weaver with back up from Aaron Jameson and Richard O'Donnell
RB - Lewis Buxton with back up from Jon Ostemobor
LB - Julian Bennett with back up from Lewis Buxton as Megson doesn't rate Daniel Jones as a left back and will use him further forward
CB - Rob Jones and Danny Baath with back up from Mark Beevers, Reda Johnson and Mark Reynolds
RM - Jermaine Johnson with back up from Chris Sedgwick
CM - David Prutton and Jose Semedo with back up from James O'Connor and Cecil Nyoni
LM - Giles Coke with back up from Daniel Jones
AM - Liam Palmer or Giles Coke depending on if Coke playing left midfield
ST - Gary Madine with back up from Clinton Morrison and Nathan Modest which will give us back up if we change to 4-4-2.
Am worried we not signed anyone else and can't see anymore deals happening, if we can't afford 300k for Danny Green and 500k for Chris O'Grady, Adam Le Fondre or 600k for Cody McDonald? Players like Danny Green, Jimmy Ryan, Adam Le Fondre are the types of players we should be after that will improve and grow for the future.
I hope the list that they announced for 9 new signings wasnt a smoke screen to get people to buy season tickets and using names like Jason Koumas to keep people interested all summer?
We all want the Owls to be successfull but its looking more and more like Mandaric finding it a bigger task than her first thought
Think he expecting this squad to be challenging by January and if it is will use his money then to cement the push from promotion and if not will fire Megson and use the money to get new players in for the new manager
I hope I am wrong but currently very worried
WTID

And nothing much has changed since them, am not looking forward to the new season as much as I normally am the day before the season starts

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Megson and manderic are a joke no strikers in no wide man no jj relegation im afraid wont score goals not bought anyone im annoyed
USELESS

wednesday will not survive this season the board and manger need to f*** off and let some one run the club that wants to run it as a football club

Believable3 Unbelievable4

The only people that need to f*** off from S6 are shallow, dim people like you who can't see beyond TWO INCH HIGH headlines Do you REALLY THINK that GM & MM the fans and everybody else DON"T want to succeed ?? This is the REAL world NOT a COMPUTER GAME and sometimes in the REAL world things don't go EXACTLY to plan. We ALL wish we had signed 10 internationals and we would only have to turn-up and the other team would go home out of fear of the OWLS Its about time people realised that OTHER players, managers, and clubs ALSO have a say in what DOES or DOESN'T happen at S6, even if we don't like it THE OWLS WILL GO UPWARD - whether that's this year or not will be decided by where we are in January & NOT where we are, OR who we sign in August .

Agree4 Disagree1

I think MM under estimated the size of the task when he took over us Glad we in a healthier position than last summer and got no debts but not feeling very optimistic

Agree0 Disagree2

You live in a f***ing dream world i ve watched wednesday for 30 years + and this is the worst side manager and backroom staff ever to be at swfc you will be sat talking bollocks at 4.50 tommorow afternoon when we get slaughtered we are s**t end off come fising with me you will see more life in the water than on the pitch

Agree3 Disagree4

Are you for real. GM is a quality manager. He has produced the results at all the clubs he has managed. MM didn't have to buy us and clear our debts. We could have folded We have tried to sign players, but as we are the Mighty Wednesday with Mr Big Bucks owning the club, other clubs inflate their valuations and the players inflate their demands. We will buy, but only the right players, at the right price.

Milan mandaric has issued a statement that seem to imply that there is no one going to sign soon just like I told you all last weekend.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Your a sad person who needs to get a hobbie what you gonna tell us over and over again after tomorrow. Just sign someone anyone Wednesday to shut this guy up, it can be a cleaner for all I care. Think madine n Morrison will do the Job tomorrow anyway.

Agree1 Disagree1

What with Chris Sedgwick supplying the crosses? Good luck We gonna need it

05 Aug 2011 15:04:22
Well it looks like another day is passing by with Wednesday not signing anyone.
To all you doubters I told you Megson told me no-one in this week.
....................................
cant belive your still writing this so obviously when they were bidding for le fondre they were thinking he best not sign just so this person is right. you didnt speak to megson, even if no one signs its just pot luck.

Not sure if alf will be coming on Rotherham website he as been given shirt number 11 for this season if wants him it's going to cost

Believable0 Unbelievable0

05 Aug 2011 12:52:09
Won't be a shock us signing players today just hope we can get at least 1 on a permanent deal I think if mm wants this team to move forward it's Gona cost loan players are ok in the short term but their not the answer some major investment needs doing with our youth system

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the last striker we signed from league 2 steve maclean and he turned into a wednesday legend and prooved he was more than capable of cutting it and in my opinion le fondre is even mor capable so get ur cheque book out mm. And finally I posted on here months ago about genuinley meeting steve howards wife at donny races and she told me he would be playing for us next season and I got absoluted slated for it and. So if it happens I could say I told you so but surely we're not that desperate, we need to be investing in young prolific goalscorers

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Your right in away I would not say maclean was a Wednesday legend but a certain David hirst
who come from Barnsley his and alf is a similar sort of player and would deffinatley cut it in league 1 and even championship this his how football use to work in this country before all the imports
