Haha, was only saying the same myself.
Would be great for football in Sheffield.

Stuart Gray is doing well in his coaching capacity and it seems he knows how to motivate, organise and improve players, which has been well proved now. What we, the fans, need to see is Milan Mandric's further support to him by adding to the squad especially in critical positions where we have few injuries. COME ON MM give SG some extra help that enable him to continue his good work, otherwise it is unfair to ask too much of him when some key players are missing at the moment plus few quality additions are required. Please MM try to help him out properly (NDS)

Think the time to use cash is in the summer. I have looked at MM when he was in charge of other clubs. If a club does well in first part of year seems he is prepared to throw some cash at players in transfer window.
Think we have improved squad each year but will be a couple of years if investment at current level before any hope of bight enough showing. Still never thought it would be instant success. Glad to see MM showed Cellino door, it does seem he is honouring his promise to find the right investor rather than first one to come along.

Question 1 when is Madine outa clink and what's others views on him getting back into team. Me personally would like to see him given a chance under grays guidance he could be a help to the team long term
Question 2 when is the emergency loan window open from I thought it was from start of the week and if so it's gone a little quiet on the Connor wickham deal hope it happens and he's back in the mighty blue an white at the wkend

{Ed003's Note - Q2 on Friday.}

A lot will depend on how well Madine has been able to maintain his fitness I guess.
Until he's match fit we can't try him out, and neither can we loan him out to anybody else.
Personally I thought he was developing in to a real prospect until DJ dumped him in wilderness with lots of others who have recently emerged as decent players - Lee, Maguire, Palmer, Mattock etc.
His off the field antics didn't do anybody any good, obviously, and hopefully he has seen the stupidity of that.
But once he's fit I would hope we give him a chance to redeem himself on and off the pitch before we dump him again.

I personally, would like to MADINE back in Wednesday colours. The lad had guts and spirit, even though he should take less spirit in the bars and clubs, and always appeared to me to be a willing worker for the team. As previously stated he and others, Maguire, Lavery and Palmer did not seem to fit the type of player Jones wanted, they were young and impulsive on the pitch and tended to make mistakes. He wanted old players who made the same mistakes but due to their lack of ambition he could brow beat them and keep them under control. I would like Stuart and Milan to give Gary one more chance, but give him the ultimatum that this is his last chance with the club and that he was drinking in the last chance saloon with the club not one in the City centre. Play on the park not in the clubs. So Gary it is up to you to take any chance given to you by the club and show what you can do.

Madine was on bench when DJ arrived. Think he had more opportunity than some mentioned. He does not work hard enough for me and unless this is remedied will not be Championship quality. Will be some months before released and will be 4 - 6 weeks before match fit. I expect him to e sent out on loan to regain form.
I do not think he would get into current team, Nuhiu woks far harder and although he sdoes not have as good a ball control his work rate is far more important to team ethic.
He is a long way away fom being a real prospect and think absence sometimes cloud actual facts.

Fair point re Maguire and change of position for Lee but Palmer has been involved as much as anyone this season.
Still not convinced about mattock but looking better than had done previously.
Thought Lee did well for us last season on right but looks better in centre.

Looking forward to the weekend, a real test of how far we have come, Reading are a good side with ALF in fine form, we will have to be on top form and could have CW back with luck
