Can't play as has not recieved clearence from SFA to transfer to another club. Technically he is still a Rangers player but like many of their top players he rejected his contract being transfered to the new company and looked to move on a free to another club. However he is still registered as a Rangers player until the SFA say so, so we may have to wait a bit before he debuts for us.

Still not ours, clearance issues.

OK I got no idea what we supposed to be paying for Antonio but I reckon its probably around the 800,000 mark. What I think is really weird, How come the piggies got 3 mil for a defender, Lowton don't make sense? Strikers are worth more than midfielders and midfielders worth more than defenders. Lowton is a defender from league one, antonio midfielder from premier so what's gone on.

Antonio has never played in the Premiership and very little in Championship Reading dont rate him thats why we have got him.As for Lowton only young but very experienced and even though he was a blade I wish we could have afforded him he is class.

Because Lowton is progressing fast as a player, before he came to us Antonio was seen as a League 1 player, after setting that league alight the money they wanted increased. The price wanted for Lowton was because he was seen as a Premier league footballer, Antonio is still seen as a League 1/Championship player, so it depends whether they are seen to become a great thing, or not.

Who cares? If villa want to pay it let them. What you worried about??

Antonio fee was 825,000, if we get promoted 1,000,000.

All I can say is the blunts let most goals in out of top 6 last season so there defenders are s***e xxx

Why cannot fans put local rivalries to one side just for this debate.Yes we got promoted yes they didnt but please bit be a bit fair when it comes to individuals.Lowtons transfer fee was never disclosed as Antonios will not be thats how clubs are working these days its all about keeping prices down if other clubs think you have money they up the price of players.As for rivalry we are on top at this time enjoy it they know we are on top let the bitterness come from them rise above it all let the team and the size of the crowds do the talking for us again.

I would doubt they got 3 million may reach that if capped by England etc. Simply he was not worth that good going forward not so defensively.

I think we should have a look at real Madrid and barcalona up and coming stars and try and bring them on loan. Just an idea
