So dj said after the game that he wants to bring one more in so who is it? And what position? Anyone know and please real answers only not messi or bale ect:))

Having been at the game yesterday the score line certainly flattered the performance. Buxton, Reda Johnson and Zayatte were all poor. Not really surprising given the fact we had not won all season. Helan and I have said this many times has nothing to offer. Mcphail is Jones favourite but do not be deceived by the manager's praise. Jones on the radio said Mcphail was excellent but he was not. He got better in the second half but too often he is caught on the ball. As for Reading they were a threat going forward but were incredibly poor at the back.
Now for the positives the two strikers were sensational and were unplayable there pressing and closing down made the Reading defence look so ordinary. Antonio was very good and made key decisions in the final third. As always some of his play was erratic but you have to accept that with him. Olofinjana started slowly but really grew into the game and was instrumental in breaking down many Reacing attacks.
I think this is an honest assessment of the game. However make no mistake that if/when we lose our two loan stars we will back to our old ways. Unfortunately Nuhiu has nothing to offer and was an embarrassment during his late cameo. Would be interested to know if anyone agrees with my post? Or am I still being too negative? Not interested in the opinions of the people who were not at the game!

With fans like you thank God we dint lose. The style was far better than owt we've seen this season. Of course it wasn't perfect. Wot did you expect, we were bottom of the league ffs.

Think you have to regard Reading as a good side, much better than average in division. Team performance was better as a whole, defence did have lapses. Buxton always shown up against genuine pace, Zayatte does make mistakes but does a lot of work. Reda is having a patchy season. Halen gafted and covered well. On whole good performance and forwards can not play well without support. Real problem has been lack of forwards, we now have good balance. Nuhiu adds to balance of forwards he gives a different option.

Played a team that had £40m parachute payment and some very good players. We mopped them up at the back and destroyed them up front. A great platform but just the start of the season. It's only worth thinking about the positives. the negatives are just things to iron out in training. loads to do but great spirit from players and fans. fans keep doing this all season we'll be fine

In reply to the post (having been at the game yesterday) well according to you Buxton - Reda _ Zayatte - Helan and Mcphail were all poor that's 5 players out of a team that won 5-2 and you are not being negative well please please my friend don't ever start getting negative - I felt great after that result, and then read what you had to say jesus Mr motivator UTO

Original poster here. Some interesting comments but I did say in my post I did not want to hear from anyone who was not at the game on Saturday. I would assume that the second and fifth poster were nowhere near Hillsborough last weekend. Perhaps they were in Meadowhall getting in some early Xmas shopping.

Well you assume wrong mate I was there but looking at your comments was you? and what you said about only being interested in people who were there well mate there were over 20,000 of us plus over 20,000 who could not be there because of work or other obligations and also some people just cat afford to but they are still owls supporters and deserve better respect than what you are giving them so my friend don't try to dictate who makes comments on this site we are the Wednesday family here here if you don't like it try S2 UTO
