Lees wasn't a free. The fee was undisclosed so there was a payment of some sort. Is mm subbing until takeover ratified? If so you wouldn't think he would if he wasn't confident it would be. If not where did the money come from? Begs another question in that if we can afford a fee for lees, why couldn't we sign that young french midfielder who I think sg said had already passed his medical?!

Think its significant that
It's of leeds fans bleating for a fee and worrying that lees will be centre back of the season. He is hound, capped at two levels and confidence undermined by Colin w@nker at leeds. In Gary we trust, he was awesome last season with nothing if mamma comes good it's a bonus. if not we still have a decent squad with little depth but hey.we are ALL wednesday aren't we???

Well we now know with the latest free signing tom lees that the takeover ain't happening before d day. Looks like a panic option

Rather trust the opinions of the professionals in the game, including those that gave him his his youth and U21 caps, than the opinions of bloggers on Leeds sites who are not best pleased with anything that's going on at their club at the moment.
He might turn out to be the signing of the season, or just padding out the squad?
Lets judge him at the end of the season and not before he's even packed his bags in Leeds. Please!

Leeds were only 2 down when they took him off against us.
We then went on to score another 4.

Be interesting to see where the new look Leeds finish the season, and how accurate your assessment of Tom Lees as a player is.
I'm guessing that Tom Lees will now go on to fulfil his early promise after being cast aside by that purist football manager Mr Warnock, and that the Leeds fans will be fighting for 19th place whilst picketing outside Elland Road yet again!
