Just been talking to a mate in Boston USA. He works for Nike and sent me a pic of a draft that he's got at work for a Sheff Weds shirt. Blue shirt with white sleeves. The best way I can describe it is same as Arsenals shirt but blue. Looks like a new shirt is on it's way and new manufacturer.

I sinceely hop we do not go down white sleeves route. We had blue with white sleeves look in 60's and hated it. It was horible shirt.

Just been talking to a mate of mine from Boston (Lincolnshire)he showed me a picture of a bream (fish) do you think that will be on the shirt also then t will be fish Wednesday instead of fish Friday lol

ssn saying Burnley are Makin enquiry with hull to sign Matty fryatt an Bruce's responce to that is he is willin to let him move on after signin new strikers. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the owls approach hull earlier this wk about fryatt to be told they only wanted to release him on a perminent deal.?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hull want to sell not loan. And we only loan players don't we

Well sunderland have brought Scocco cannot see any room at Sunderland for Wickham now, I think he will move back to wednesday

Believable0 Unbelievable0

It would be good to see him back, but I suspect that he will go to someone with more money to pay to Sunderland.
Hope I am wrong, but there is a strong rumour in the north east linking him with Middlesbrough.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would be surprised if Sunderland loaned player to potential rival in area. You dont see may loans between Newcastle, Sunderland and Middlesbrough.

Well, after yet more talk of wanting to add 2 more strikers and an attacking midfielder to the squad (just like MM kept saying in the last window too) the reality is as we all knew that none of these signings would happen. I'm now thinking that the sole problem lies with MM and the way he runs the club. We are losing out on players (apparently) to a lot lesser clubs than ourselves so why is this? Secondly, if MM rescued us by paying off our creditors and in his words (the club now starts with a clean slate) then why are we not in a better financial position than most clubs in our league with regards to our attendances and merchandise sales etc? Why is it the so called lesser clubs can get our targets and on full time deals rather than loans? Something is definitely not right down at S6.

But at least were not close to administration

Singed Benik Afobe, poor signing so disapointed! hope he proves me wrong but he's been rubbish whenever I've seen him

I really do not know why you are a football fan, you remind me of that old Soothsayer woman on Up Pompeii (woe woe and thrist woe).
The club was in shocking state when MM took over it was not just the debts.
We had poor squad of players, poor academy, no scouting, and stadium were run down.
With the best will in the world these things are going to take time to fix. He does not have billions to throw at the club but is using good financial management to improve the club.
Regarding clubs getting players who we want personally have not seen many who would be interested in perhaps with exception of Maynard who chose not to come here. Sharp turned down Laws and Jones previously and is a dyed in full United fan who obviously prefers Donny where he had done well before. I was not keen on having Sharp as do not think his style will suit way we play.
Does it do any harm to look for positive improvements which have come about rather than harping on about nothing. If you are a fan think you must have been one of those imbeciles who thought you could have a fan owned club which ran on fesh air.

(To woe woe etc ) Not the OP but I like many others share his frustration. Being a fan doesn't mean shutting your eyes and ears and not thinking or having opinions, and all opinions are valid even yours!
All genuine fans will always be grateful to MM for saving us - that goes without saying.
Nobody wants MM to spend silly money and take us back to those bad old days - that goes without saying also.
BUT - MM has been honest with everybody and said he is definitely going to sell, and because of that he is CHOOSING not to spend any more than he absolutely has to in the meantime - no argument that's understandable.
It is MM's choice, and right, to do so he is the owner.
But just because I agree with most of what Milan has done, it doesn't mean I have to agree with all he does.
His motivation and aims are NOT the same as mine or for that matter ANY of the fans.
His motivation is short-term and financial - whereas for ALL the fans its long-term and nothing at all to do with money.
That is where "intelligent" fans, not "imbeciles" as you insultingly put it, get all their frustration from.
This is MM's choice and even if you understand it doesn't mean we ALL have to like it.
And we are entitled to hold that view without being labelled by fans who are happy with struggling against relegation year after when there is an alternative.
