Hope o, driscoll doesn t go to barnsley, he woulf turn them round. . We should get him on our coaching staff till he gets a managers job. His teams play good attractive football

If we had a player up front who could create his own chances and get on the end of others, we'd fly up the league.
We will lose some games in the future but i think we have our destiny in our own hands and will catch up a few of the teams above us.
No matter who barnsley get or how much they improve i don't think they will finish above us.

Lack of goal getter is the problem, O'Grady ad Madine work hard but not goal scorers at this level. Sidibe also ulikely to bag lots of goals.
Wickham likely if Suderland get alternative. Barkley is also likely to return. Halem will stay to end of season too.

Not sure I want Barkley back tbh, good young player no doubt, but like the shape of the side now and it's working. If he could come in and replace Prutton and keep same shape perhaps , but it's been good to have an old head in there and you need that sometimes. Hoping we can keep Helan till end season, sign him if poss!

I don't want to see barkley back either.
He was a good player but didn't perform in some games.
Sometimes the less flashy but experienced and consistant players are better over a season.
We look much better as a team atm.Don't want to spoil it by bringing another short term loan in.
I'd like to see Davies and an experienced midfielder come in.

I was talking to Jay Bothroyd in Handsworth Asda (He was wearing sunglasses and a blonde wig but I recognised him straight away)
His wife has bought him some new boots from Sports & Soccer for Christmas and he reckons he will be back for Burnley game and DJ has told him if he doesn't score he will sign him full time
He is currently on £25K/ week and was buying Asda own brand items as he is saving up for a breast reduction to make him more streamlined for flying up and down the wing a bit like Mel Sterland used to do, he also said he has been on full pay whilst on sick leave
He thinks us Wednesday fans should also take carrots to the Burnley game as we love donkeys

I'm sure the bloke who keeps saying "experts" is DJ.
He seems really miffed when we have questioned jones, pointed out his record as a manager hasn't been that great and pointed out when certain players have been playing badly all season.
Its all true that jones was doing badly, signed some poor players and bothroyd was playing crap, so i dunno why people get called experts for it.
They also get called experts for asking for a small bit of investment to get to the riches of the premier.Whats wrong with that.
Some of us have been watching football for 30 years.Some of us have played and do have an understanding of tactics and formations.
Its not about being an expert its about having a brain.

Careful, dont start being the slightest bit critical on here - even if it is an accurate observation and plain common sense .
I've also been going down to S6 for a similar length of time and played at semi-pro level as a young man.
Most people are reasonable fans who accept that there are differing opinions , but there are snipers like the one(s) you refer to, who dont do anything else but look for posts like yours and then start a very personal assault.
Hopefully they will have made a New Year resolution to accept that other loyal fans might have a different opinion to theirs , most of us do accept that? We live in hope ?
After all football is a game of opinions . Surely theres room for everybodys views and even if we do disagree , most of us Owls do it politely & respectfully.
